All I've been doing ever since I've came is cleaning, that includes dusting, tidying, vacuuming, and anything else I can do.
I start to get changed since I'm going downstairs. I think I'm going to help cook for dinner and tidy the house a bit. Not that it needs to, I just need something to divert my mind.
I'm just pinning my hijab in place when my phone rings. It's Borobhiya.

"Hey"
"Don't hey me. It's been two weeks since you've stayed there. You didn't even call me apart from the first day. How am I supposed to know if you're ok!"
I wince at his tone of voice.
"Sorry"
He sighs.
"Innu, I'm not there with you so I don't know what's happening. You not calling me doesn't help my worries"
"Ok. I'll call you more. I'm sorry"
He sighs again.
"Alright. So how are you doing? Are you ok? You better not be doing work. You know you're not supposed to Innu, be carefu-"
"Oh my gosh. Borobhiya calm down. Yes I'm fine. Now tell me, how's... Everyone"
"You both are just the same"
I frown.
"What?"
"Mum, she wants to know about you but she said the exact same thing you did"
I give a small smile.
"She's fine. I know she wants to see you and talk to you but it's her ego that's in the way. She shouldn't be keeping grudges"
"How's dad" I say trying to change the subject.
"Misses you. He wants you to come and stay"
"Oh" I don't know what to say.
"Innu. Do you want to come? I can come and pick you up"
"No, I mean. I do want to come but Borobhiya you know I can't. What if she gets angry at me? What if I just ruin everything? What if she loses her temper which might make me lose my temper? What if-"
"Innayah. Nothing like that will happen"
"I don't think I'm ready to face her yet"
"Ok. Just make sure you're keeping well. Insha Allah everything will be fine. How's everyone over there. Is Saj keeping fine with the baby and all?"
"Yeah she's fine. I erm I told her about... Jas"
"Really" he says softly.
"Mm hmm. She slapped me, then she cried with me, then she hugged me"
"These mood swings. Are you ok?"
"Come on Borobhiya, it's obvious she was going to hit me. I didn't tell her neither did anyone else. But she's cool with me now. Amir and Zachy heard as well"
"Still calling him Zachy"
"When have I stopped?" I give a small laugh. He joins in.
"Ok Innu I'm going to hang up now. I love you"
"Love you too"

He hangs up and after taking a deep breath I go downstairs. Zachy is sat on the prayer mat reading the Qur'an. Masha Allah his voice is really amazing. I stand next to the door just listening to his soothing voice until he finishes. After making a smal dwua he turns to face me. My eyes go wide.

"Erm. Sorry, I was just... You have a nice voice Zachy Masha Allah" I say nervously.
He smiles genuinely.
"Jazakalla Khair"
We just stay there like that for a while. Until I break the comforting silence.
"I just came here to tidy up"
"The room is clean"
"Ok. I'm going to see if the other rooms need cleaning then"
"Alright. See you Innu"
"See ya"

I walk out of the room feeling confused. Why did I feel nervous talking to Zachy. That was the first time. Eh, it was probably nothing. I walk into the dining room. Luckily there is some things to do. After a couple of hours I'm finally done. Amir and Zachy come in when I'm just putting the plates up.

"Woah" they both say in unison.
"What?"
"It's really tidy and clean?"
I give a 'really' look to Zachy who's stupid enough to ask the question.
"What? That's a compliment"
I shrug
"I need to go now. It's Zuhr time"

I read my Zuhr prayer then get the Qu'ran out.
After a couple hours of reading the holy book I'm already on Parah 7 and I started from the beginning. I realise that I actually have nothing to do here. I do feel a little out of place but what can I do. I mean last year, me Borobhiya and Farhan bhiya had a good time. We went praying together, we read the Qu'ran together, we even did charities together. Now all I'm doing is work and reading. Don't get me wrong, I mean I love reading the Qu'ran it's just... I want I do more.
