Why Are You Here?

// "Run" I turn around to find no one behind me "Run" the voice echoes throughout this black empty space "Run!" The voice gets louder,I cover my ears "RUN!" The voice screams as I uncover my ears and run as fast as I can "now wake up" I stop only to feel hands on my shoulders, I turn around to catch a little glimpse of the face, I wake up.//
My eyes open but I was met with a bright white light so I shut them instantly, I groan as I move my body "Hey don't move too much you need rest" my eyes spring open and I get up so quickly I almost faint "W-What-" I feel a hand pushing me down "Hey woah careful you still need rest and getting up like that will make you dizzy" "D-Don't point o-out the obvious" I mange to say as I let her push me down gently, there was silence "W-What are y-you doing h-here?" I ask trying to get up to look at her "Well.." I get up slowly to look at her face " 'Well' i-isn't answering my q-question" I tell her rudely "Woah when did you grow a backbone" she snickers, I smirk "Since you left me" I say bitterly, she looks down "Yeah about that.." She looks at me "Don't even bother you had your chance and now look where I am" she narrows her eyes "Hey just because your in hospital doesn't mean you could just pin this on me" she says raising her voice a little "Well I would tell you why I'm blaming you but I remember how much of a backstabber you are" I say raising my voice a little "Hang on-" the doctor walks in "Well Charlie I see that your awake" he says eyeing me and her "Yeah, yo doc how in the world did I get here?" I ask while placing my legs on the side of the bed "Well Izzy here said she found you leaning against a tree past out with them broken knuckles of yours" he says chuckling at the end, I look at my hands straight away to find them wrapped up in bandages "Oh shit" I whisper, my eyes wide in shock "Care to explain Charlie?" Izzy asks leaning against the wall "Well.." I start, I look at the doctor and he looks back at me "Hey Doc does my Dad know I'm here?" Hoping to change the subject "Oh well yes he seemed upset he said he will visit you tomorrow" /Upset? First he feels guilty and now upset? This day is just fucked up/ /probably acting Charlie don't get your hopes up/ I look at the floor surprised where that thought came from "Uhh ok thanks" I mutter while staring at the floor "Hey Doctor do you mind if me and Charlie have a little talk?" She asks him, I look up at Izzy then the Doctor "Uh Charlie is that ok?" He asks me, I look at Izzy "Yeah it's fine" I mutter obviously not happy "Ok I'll be back to tell you when you can leave ok?" I nod "Alright see you then" he turns and leaves shutting the door "What do you want Izzy" I ask not in the mood to talk "Look Charlie I understand why your like this but there is no reason at all to blame me that your in hospital " I stand up turning to Izzy "Well might as well tell you even if you do tell Sally" I mutter, she sighs "It's your fault" I say simply, she scoffs "You left me, you knew what I was going through and you just up and ran, I fucking loved you like any best friend would love there best friend and you just left me!" She looks at the floor than the back at me "Charlie c'mon didn't you want it to stop? Didn't you just want to get up and walk away from all the-" "Agony? Pain? Sadness? Fear? Anger? Oh believe me when I say this but I tried to end my life just to get away from it all but then you left and not only did I try to end my life I started to cut" I show her my cuts, her eyes widen "Why?" I sigh and sit down "Cause you left me Izzy, you left me to face this alone.." I tell her on the verge to burst out crying /Not now Charlie don't cry in front of people that hurt you so bad/ /get out of my head/ "C-Charlie oh my god..I'm so-" "save it, you had your chance" I sigh and lie back down, she sighs and asks a question that took me off guard "Charlie why are you here?" I get back up and look at her "H-Huh?" She looks at me with a little bit of anger in her eyes and takes a step forward "Why are you here?" She asks more sternly "Um" My words just seemed to jump out of my mouth "Charlie" she asks again, I smirk knowing that this will catch her off guard too "Why are YOU here Izzy?" I ask smirking knowing I've got her now "W-What?" I look at her "Why are YOU here" I ask sternly "Uhh" I stand up "Cause the last time I checked. YOU, were the one that left me, YOU were the one that ran to Sally, YOU were the one that made me cut so don't ask me why I'm here when the most important thing is WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HERE!!" I scream and I punch the wall only to be screaming in pain "Charlie!" "STOP! Don't you DARE come near me!" I scream at her, I grab my arm and pull my really sore hand into my chest "Look Charlie" "leave" I tell her through clenched teeth "No Charlie we ha-" "LEAVE!" I scream, she sighs and turns to the door "Look Charlie I'm coming back tomorrow and we are gonna sort this out" I sigh and look at the wall "Just" I take a deep breath "Leave" I huff out and I watch Izzy turn the knob on the door and leave, I sink to the ground and cry /You did well Charlie/ /Leave me alone I'm not in the mood/ / Don't you see she's had enough?/ another voice enters my mind /Just leave me alone, both of you/ Silence "Thank you" I whisper out quietly and continue to sob.
