COMMENT AND VOTE. IT HELPS US WRITERS STAY MOTIVATED:)The air in the house was thick with anticipation as Jules crouched behind the wall, her breathing steady but quick. She could hear the faint shuffle of feet, the whispered conversations of her friends in the shadows. Max, Lucas, Mike, Will, and Eleven were all huddled together, silently awaiting their move. It was a carefully coordinated plan, one that involved stealth, precision, and, of course, a bit of chaos. Jules felt the hum of energy in her veins, the power of her ability ready to be unleashed.
Eleven stood at the forefront of the group, her eyes shut tight, her concentration intense. She was using her telekinetic abilities to manipulate Dustin's robots and toys, guiding them silently out of his room like tiny mechanical soldiers on a secret mission. Jules watched in awe as Eleven moved them with perfect control, but there was no time to admire her work. It was her turn next.
Jules took a deep breath, focusing her energy into the tips of her fingers. She could feel the power coursing through her, an electric buzz that made the hairs on her arms stand on end. She extended her hand, and the lights in the hallway flickered. Her energy manipulation allowed her to control the flow of electricity, and she made the bulbs flicker in a way that would surely catch Dustin's attention.
She glanced at her friends briefly-Lucas, Mike, and Will crouched low, peeking over the wall to make sure their target was still in sight. Max stood at the ready, her expression a mix of excitement and nerves. And Eleven, her eyes still closed, was guiding the toys out of the room, her concentration unbroken.
Jules turned her attention back to the hallway. Dustin was slowly creeping out of his room, his eyes darting around suspiciously. He held a spray can in his hand, his movements jerky and unsure, as though he knew something was off but couldn't put his finger on it. A smirk tugged at Jules's lips. She was about to give him a show.
She lifted her hand again, this time directing her energy toward the kitchen cabinets. With a subtle flick of her wrist, she made the doors burst open, sending plates clattering onto the floor. The loud noise echoed through the house, the sound of ceramic and metal crashing together-a perfect diversion.
Dustin froze, his eyes widening as he turned toward the noise, his instincts kicking in. He raised the spray can in defense, ready to spray whatever threat was coming his way. Jules chuckled lowly to herself, watching as Dustin's attention was completely diverted. He began to move toward the kitchen, still holding the spray can tightly, his face full of anxiety and confusion.
"Now!" Mike hissed in a whisper-yell, and Jules nodded.
With a final glance at Eleven, she saw her friend's eyes snap open, her telekinetic hold on the robots dissipating as they fell to the ground in a clatter of plastic and metal. Eleven wasted no time, springing into action as the plan moved into its final phase.
