Need to unlearn how to run when it feels right"

Jules and Dustin strolled into Scoops Ahoy together, the sound of the bell above the door ringing as they entered. The air was thick with the sugary scent of waffle cones and ice cream, and the familiar hum of the bustling little shop filled the space. Robin was behind the counter, serving two girls, her expression as dry as ever as she handed over their ice cream.
"Have a nice day," Robin said in her usual monotone, not even bothering to glance up as she slid their cones across the counter.
The girls mumbled their thanks, and then Jules waved at Robin as she and Dustin stepped forward. "Hi!" Jules said with a bright smile, her voice carrying a cheerful note.
Dustin grinned, his usual enthusiasm barely contained. "Hi!" he said, as if meeting an old friend, and he pointed at Robin with a flourish.
Robin barely acknowledged the greeting, her eyes flickering briefly to Jules before looking back at the counter. "Hi," she replied, her tone flat and unimpressed.
"I'm Dustin," he continued, his voice full of excitement. "And this is Jules-"
"Acquainted," Robin interrupted, her gaze flicking to Jules, who cracked a grin at Robin's deadpan delivery. Robin gave a small nod toward her, acknowledging her presence.
"I'm Robin," Robin added, her voice still devoid of inflection, though there was a hint of something resembling familiarity in her eyes. "Pleasure to meet you."
Jules chuckled quietly, enjoying Robin's dry sense of humor. Dustin, on the other hand, was already bouncing with the excitement of seeing his old friend again. "Uh, is- is he here?" he asked, stammering slightly, unable to contain his excitement about seeing Steve again.
"Is who here?" Robin replied, raising an eyebrow, looking mildly curious. Before either of them could answer, the backdoor to the storage room suddenly flew open with a loud bang, and there was Steve, arms thrown wide in dramatic fashion as he stepped into the room.
"Henderson!" Steve yelled at the top of his lungs, his voice carrying through the shop, and he rushed forward, his face lighting up with a grin. Dustin, his grin wide enough to split his face in two, pointed at Steve dramatically.
"Dude, you're so extra," Jules muttered under her breath, rolling her eyes at the over-the-top greeting.
But Dustin couldn't help himself. He laughed and pointed again. "Henderson! He's back! He's back!" he shouted back at Steve in the same exaggerated tone.
Steve jumped in place, clapping his hands and laughing with pure joy. "What is he, like five?" Jules muttered sarcastically, crossing her arms as she leaned against the counter, watching the scene unfold with a mix of amusement and exasperation.
Robin snorted, unable to help herself at the ridiculousness of the whole exchange. "I think you're right," she said under her breath, shaking her head as she continued to watch Steve's antics.
