*Paris's POV*

I laid in my bed, unwilling to open my eyes. I really do not want to go to school today.

Then I heard a voice. "Erm... Paris? Are you all right?"

Angelyn. It was Angelyn. What is she doing in my bedroom? It all suddenly came rushing back. The fire. Cade, transforming into that unearthly being. Driving recklessly through the streets until we got to Cade's house. And... Oh god. The demons.

I instantly sat up and opened my eyes. Angelyn, Nionnien, and Elijah were all peering down at me. Matthias still sat at the window of the car, hypnotized by the creatures.

Suddenly, a word echoed. The second I heard it, it disappeared from my memory. We all froze, not able to move a muscle. A man with a crown perched atop his head and a beautiful woman approached. The woman bent over to look into the car window.

"Hmmm... Who might these children be Galbarorix?" She asked. As she leaned close, I could tell that her form was an illusion. It shimmered slightly, and when you looked closely enough, she had no eyes.

Galbarorix then spoke. "Allies of Cade perhaps?"

"Most likely."

"Then take them to one of our prison rooms." Galbarorix finished, his cape billowing behind him as he strode away.

"Rude little maggot..." The woman muttered. Then her eyes focused on mine, and I could hear her voice in my head. It is now time for you to sleep," She cooed and my world slowly faded to blackness.

-------------------------------------

When I woke up for the second time, I was in a large stone room, the only exit by a heavy wooden door. I was still immobilized by the magic. Magic... did I just say magic? Well, after today, I wouldn't be surprised if magic was real. And judging by the long rope tying my wrists together, everyone else is immobilized near me.

The door suddenly opened and a woman with tangled black hair and a tattered dress waltzed into the room. She oddly resembled Bellatrix Lestrange... She was followed by a figure, hooded in a black cape. The figure was about my height, which would put him at my age.

"Niamiane really did perform the immobilization spell fantastically!" She exclaimed, noticing that we hadn't been able to move yet. "Alright little chickies, since your here, I suppose I might have some fun. You see, we are all villains from those odd little books and movies you have. And we're going to destroy the universe!" She cackled.

There wasn't a doubt in my mind now. She was Bellatrix.

"Alright then chickies, its time to show you what happens when people try to sneak up on us," she laughed. She took her wand out of her pocket and removed the magic that was keeping us still. Then she moved it in a quick gesture downward, causing the ropes to fall off, sliced to pieces. There was a long silence, then Matthias got up and attempted to run for the open door.

"No Matthias!" I shouted.

"Well, it looks like one of them is an idiot! " Bellatrix laughed manically. Matthias's face filled with fear. He had realized what a stupid mistake he had made. I knew what was going to happen so I looked away. There was a flash of purple light, and a sharp metallic sound, like a sword being drawn. Then Matthias began to scream. Even though I was looking away, I could still see his blood splatter the stone walls.

"Excellent job-" Bellatrix began to say.

"Do not say my name." The hooded figure warned. The voice was unmistakably male.

"Oh! I apologize."

Realizing that we were still there, Bellatrix quickly said "Have a nice day, chickies!" Before sweeping out of the room as fast as she could behind the hooded figure.

In her hurry, she had forgotten to put the freezing charm and ropes back on us. We all immediately ran to Matthias's side. "Tell... my parents... that ... I love them." he managed to gasp out. I could tell that his life was slipping away. "And..." he started but then he grew still. Nionnien and Elijah broke into tears. Angelyn remained silent.

I finally managed to work up he courage to look at Matthias. His eyes, which usually were dark and brooding, were glassy and lifeless. His skin had gone pale instead of its usual tan color. Angelyn quietly closed his eyes. As I watched the pool of blood grow larger, I swore I would avenge Matthias's murder.
