The remaining students of Cade's former gym class were having gym class in an empty classroom when it happened. With a loud bang, the door flew off it's hinges, and a horde of people and creatures swarmed into the room, many of them from popular works of fiction.

"Where is Cade?" A cold icy voice asked.

No one answered the voice because none of the students had the slightest idea of where he was.

"Very well. You have all sealed your fate." The person spoke again.

The creatures escorted the class out of the classroom, and out the front doors of the school, to where they all stood in the large cement area in front of the school.

"Kill them. Kill them all!" A voice laughed manically, and the slaughter began.

Students watched in horror as their friends and classmates were slaughtered all around them. Dismembered body parts lay everywhere and blood ran across the pavement like water as the creatures ran around, murdering anyone they caught breathing, all while a voice cackled.

Up on the roof of the school, a boy watched the massacre, his green eyes wide in horror.

*Hermione's POV*

I knew that Cade was awfully nervous talking to all of his childhood heroes and that he was deeply concerned about what happened to his friends, so I decided that I had to do something to make him feel better. And what better than to scry his school, and show him that nothing had changed?

I walked over to a mirror that hung on my bedroom wall, and said a scrying spell over it. It rippled, and then I saw something that I didn't expect. Blood. Blood everywhere. I screamed, which brought Cade running into the room. I pointed at the mirror wordlessly.

Cade's expression changed from worried to frightened. The pavement was stained a deep crimson from the blood of his peers, and blood was splattered all over the windows of his school. Horror crossed Cade's face as he saw what some of the body parts spelled out.
