*Cade's POV*
I was in shock. Seeing all those innocent people I had seen every day, either in the hall or in class, slaughtered ruthlessly was deeply disturbing. Who in their right mind would ever consider that to be a thing to do? Even the very thought of it… And then the ominous message of you're next… What on earth have Hermione and I gotten ourselves into?
And now, with this, the question of where Nionnien, Paris, Angelyn, Matthias, Elijah, Olivia, and Greg are again comes to my mind. When I look at what happened here, all that I can think is that they’re all dead. I’m nearly positive I would have heard something about them in my online browsing if they were still alive and well. Interviews and such…
I swear, they had better be alive. I don’t know what I’ll do if they’re… gone.
*Olivia's POV*
Blood. Blood everywhere. It smelt like death, the coppery taste of blood filled my mouth, and the glistening redness that threatened to overwhelm me.
Then, I noticed the pain. It felt like every bone in my body was broken, a raging inferno of hurt that raced across every part of my body. My clothes were torn, and I was covered in wounds, slashes and whatnot. Claw wounds.
What happened again? Gym class. Everyone I know- missing or a wanted terrorist. So I was bored and then- demons and villainous looking people. Outside. Murder. I was attacked by some… I don’t even know, and it hit me across the parking lot, then I hit the ground and- That’s the last thing I remember.
I must have passed out, and those murders obviously assumed that I was dead. Guess I’m the lucky one here… If you can even call this lucky. Excruciating pain really isn’t a laughing matter, if you get what I’m saying.
I finally worked up the courage to look at the carnage, and I nearly threw up. The sidewalk was absolutely drenched in blood, and the windows covering the front of the school were splattered with it. Body parts scattered everywhere… I can even name some of the heads that aren't to badly mauled- This is horrifying, I can't look at it anymore!
Then, if they come back? They’ll find me, and then I’m dead meat. I can’t suffer the same fate as my late classmates. Someone has to alert the government, so they can apprehend whatever monster ordered this.
Who knows what those people will do next? A preschool? A hospital? The public needs to be aware that these terrible people are out there.
I slowly get to my feet, and the pain increases by a tenfold. I fall back to the ground an gasp as my wounds touch the ground again. But I can't succumb, I have to live through this, and let people know of what’s out there. Determined, I crawl slowly towards the nearest car. I grab a nearby rock and weakly throw it at the window. The rock is heavy enough to cause it to shatter, and I just barely manage to pull myself through it. I lay on the seat for a while, gasping, then I force myself to get up.
I need to hot-wire the car. I’ve never done it before, but I’m pretty sure I can figure it out. It takes some time, but eventually, I finally get it.
Schools should be about over. It's strange that no ones seen the blood yet, though. Teachers and students pass by the windows the face the front all the time. I guess that it’s good for me though. I’d rather get out of here instead of being dragged to a hospital and being forced to face nurses, needles, and reporters.
I slowly maneuver the car out of the parking lot, using the knowledge I gained from bumper cars when I was younger. I turn down a side road, then another, and another, to the point where I have no idea where I am.
It’s a bumpy dirt road to nowhere when I finally lose control of the car and drive into a ditch, the air bags exploding into my face, knocking me out for the second time that day.
