A new school, a new life, and a clean slate. Except this school is different, at this school I get to finally have an official Demon Slaying License. With a sigh, I grip my shoulder strap tightly. The only thing I needed to bring was my weapon, the rest of my things would be in my shared dorm room. I keep walking, but faster now. The giant gold gates come closer and closer, when I look through them it looks like no one is there, I know better than that.
Once I walk through them and close the doors, I'm surrounded by people who are walking in different directions. Some towards the huge school looming in front of me, some to the left and right, and some behind me. When I look behind me, the gates aren't there anymore it's just a forest. I start walking towards the school, my black high heeled boots click on the cobblestone that lies all over the courtyard. I move around the fountain in the middle of everything, as best I can. People seem oblivious that I'm even there, no ones' gaze falls onto me once. Something hard hits my shoulder, I look up. It wasn't a something it was a someone. A boy, I instantly find that he is a werewolf; the scent of wet dog is pungent. His gaze is set on me, and those gold eyes stare into my silver ones."I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going. My bad." After apologizing, I take one step but his hand is around my wrist. I turn to face him again, with a blank expression this time.
"What's your name?" He asks.
"I'm sorry, but I really need to go." I pull my wrist out of his grasp with ease. I walk quickly until I'm through the front doors, instead of the floors being cobblestone they're tile. The squares are bigger than one of my feet when I step on them. The ceilings are high and have the roman arch, chandeliers hang from them. The hall opens up into a big room, the ceiling is a dome but instead of an open circle in the middle, it has a glass tube going through it, a glass door is on the front. There are no doors or any other ways out except for the hall I went through, and the small tube.
"Anyone going to dorm 302, come with me." A woman's voice echoes through the room, yet it sounds like she isn't yelling. I look over at the tube and then I see her. The woman, she's wearing a black blazer buttoned low, with a white lacy undershirt, a white pencil skirt, black tights, and white four inch heels, her blonde hair is up in a neat bun, and glasses sit on the bridge of her nose.
"Calling for anyone else in dorm 302." I jerk out of my thoughts once she says that. That's my dorm, I start walking towards her. Once I'm in front of the woman, I see that I'm taller than her. We are both wearing high heels but mine are three inches, and her's are more like four.
"Are you in dorm 302?" She asks, without looking up from her clipboard.
"Yes I am." I look her straight in the eye, blankly."Come this way, your roommates are already inside," she says as she sweeps her hand towards the doorway to the tube. I step inside, but instead of being sucked up. There's a wooden door, right in front of me. I open it, the first thing that hits me is the smell. Then the lack of lighting, I close the door behind me.
"Rise, rise, become my servant and serve me." A masculine voice says in a demonic tongue. When I see the circle and the candles around it I know exactly what he's doing. I walk over to the circle and wipe my foot against the chock, smudging the circle.
"Hey! I was doing okay there!" The voice sounds childish now.
"You shouldn't summon a demon this early in the year, you don't know how powerful it may be." I drawl. Footsteps echo on the floor, then the lights flick on. It takes only a few seconds for my eyes to adjust to the light.
"I told him not to, but he wouldn't listen." A feminine voice echoes through the room. The boy in front of me has black short messy hair, his eyes are brown, his skin is navy blue, and he's wearing an expensive looking suit. I instantly recognize him as a warlock."Try other spells before you summon demons." The warlock's eyes widen with shock and his mouth drops open. I turn on my heel to look at the girl that was behind me. Her ruby hair reaches the back of her thighs, her eyes are a dark blue and her gaze is as cold as ice, her lips are a pale pink, she's wearing short Jean shorts, emerald green converse sneakers, and her tank top is black. The girl's hands are at her hips, I look away from her and to my side of the room. I know that because the bed already has my sheets on it. The rest have everyone else's. I sit on my bed and take my case(which holds her weapon)off my back. I pull the blade out.
"Nice sword, why do you have such a big carrier for it?" The boy asks. It does look kind of like a curved sword.
"There are reasons." I unzip a pocket, which holds the material I need to use to sharpen the blade.
"Isn't it sharp enough?" The warlock asks again. I smirk at the question, he moves closer as I swipe the rock over both sides of the blade. I slip the rock back into its pocket and zip it up. The warlock is now next to me hovering just to see the blade.
"Pure silver, but as light as air and very easy to use. If you're the owner, I should know I made this weapon myself. Step back a little." I say as I stand up. The boy steps back, I slam my palm into the the end of the handle. It clicks, and the handle unfolds into something more like a black metal branch, and more of that same black metal goes over the actual blade. Instead of holding a sword, I'm holding a more modified Scythe. The boy next to me stares at the Scythe in awe. I pull on the handle on the side that pokes out, the weapon turns back into a curved sword.
"You made that?" The warlock asks.
"Yeah, it was easier to forge than most of the weapons I've made," I shrug, it really isn't that big of a deal.
"Do you think you could make me something?" The girl asks. I'm a little caught off guard from her question, she hasn't said anything I forgot she was there.
"Sure, what would you like?" I ask.
"I don't care, as long as I can do long range and short range hits with it." She shrugs. I look down at the wood floor for a moment, before I hear a door creak open then close.
"What's going on here?" A masculine voice asks. It sounds familiar, I look up. The werewolf boy I ran into earlier stands in front of the closed door. His gaze meets mine, and I glare at him."You must be Sebastian, I'm Nick." The warlock-Nick-says. I look at the other girl, she's staring at the werewolf-Sebastian-with a soft gaze that isn't as icy as her normal one, odd...
"You know you could be better at hiding your stare." I say coldly to Sebastian. The werewolf boy looks at me in shock, I wave it away.
"I'm going to be getting ideas for your weapon alright?" I ask the other girl. She nods, half paying attention to everything else.
