Terrible Past

Black Hole's P.O.V:

I pack my bag with some tools or resources listed by.. not the Taco currently at school, the one with an accent (I have no idea how I'm to refer to a different person of the same name). I think back to our agreement. 

other Taco's voice: "prepare yourself with whatever of these things you have and meet me at the park after dark."

Once I finished packing I look to Planty and pet him. 

Black Hole: Behave yourself.

After that I lock the door to my room and see Cherry Jr on the couch in his pjs watching tv.

Black Hole: I'm heading out.

Cherry Jr: Okay. Where're you going?

For the safety of the people I care about I was advised not to tell anyone, even though I've never wanted to keep secrets anymore, this one was more for their sake instead of mine.

Black Hole: Uhh.. another trip out of town. I don't know when I'll be back so remember to turn the tv off and head to bed on time.

Cherry Jr: Alright I will.

Black Hole: Good. 

After a long flight to the Park, I find the gate closed. Not a serious issue I just flew over it and looked out for the Taco I spoke to. Soon enough I find her near a gazebo in the bushes. 

other Taco: Were you followed? 

Black Hole: Not likely. So do you even know where your friend was taken, uhh... Sorry I'm not quite used to knowing two people of the same name. 

Hardshell-Taco: That's understandable, if it makes this easier you can refer to me as 'Hardshell'. It's one of the physical differences between me and the fishy one. Now, I do know where my friend was taken and you'll have to fly us there. Just follow my directions. 

Black Hole: Can't you just tell me the exact place?

Hardshell: I have a habit of being mysteriously ambiguous. Now chop chop, off we go. 

She snaps her fingers until I picked her up and took off, I could see why we had to fly it seemed to be pretty far. Out the city boarder. I followed Hardshell Taco's directions as she gave them out and eventually in the horizon we spot our destination.... one place I NEVER hoped to see again...

The most horrible moments of that event flashed in my head and I couldn't move. Or fly apparently when the sound of Hardshell screaming snapped me out of whatever I had and got me to see us plummeting to the ground. 

Hardshell Taco: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!

Acting as fast as possible I hold her against my chest and positioned myself so that only I'd hit the ground.

*CRASH*

Once the dust settled I let go of her to see if she was okay, considering how she jumped off me to yell was proof enough. 

Black Hole: That was close, hey are you ok-

Hardshell Taco: WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT? WHY did you just stop flying all of a sudden?!

Black Hole: You're welcome. 

Hardshell Taco: >:(

Black Hole: Sorry I.. I sorta lost focus. 

Hardshell Taco: *sigh* No matter, we're close enough to the figure a strategy. Now my initial plan will be t-

Black Hole: *mutter* Why? Why there of all places why?

Hardshell Taco: Um, are you even listening? 

Black Hole: I.. I- I.. I-

Hardshell Taco: You what?

Black Hole: I CAN'T GO BACK THERE!

At this point I had almost lost it and forcefully grabbed her shouting without even thinking. She looked at me surprised and possibly confused. She shook into her senses.

Hardshell Taco: Back..? You were at Meeple Cloud before? 

I try to calm myself and put Hardshell down and sat down. When I could finally think rationally I explained to her what happened even though I never ever wanted to talk about it. 

Black Hole: Once... I was hunted for to be a tool for progress. It was the first time I actually learned fear. My friends went through a lot to try and keep me safe, it's.. a lot to explain about but I almost lost my freedom.

Hardshell Taco: Oh.. I- I had no idea... I'm sorry. 

Hardshell Taco & Black Hole: ....

Hardshell Taco: I.. you can stay here, I might be able to sneak in mys-

Black Hole: No. The only reason I'm out of there today was because I had friends who would risk everything to save me. And right now your friends needs that. I'm terrified beyond comprehension but I'd be a failure to the Pact if I turned back now. 

Hardshell Taco: That's the spirit! Now let's come up with a plan.
