Since he was back and his mother knew that he was alive, he was forced to go to school again. His father showed up tired from his job but was glad to see his son healthy and doing well. Now, Issei was in front of the school building and was breathing in to calm himself. He may have the power to defeat anyone at the school, but he was more of an introvert and didn't want to involve himself with people that he didn't know at all.
Walking forwards, Issei was met with Rias Gremory staring straight into his eyes and smiling widely. Running to Issei, she stopped right in front of him and grabbed his hand. "I'm so happy to see you! You saved me from Riser and made my entire family happy. Not only that, but I heard about the news of my sister being with you."
"What? How?"
"Did you really think she would keep it a secret from my mother? Not only that, but my mother told me afterward just to make sure that I can have teasing material against her." Rias puffed out her chest. She finally had things she can get back at her sister.
"Wait, if Sirzechs's mother knows about me. Does her father also know?"
Rias nodded and caused for Issei to go into a spiral. What would her father think of him? "My father thinks of you as someone perfect for Sirzechs. It's not like my father or mother can do anything about your relationship with Sirzechs. She's the Lucifer for crying out loud. She can literally kill a dozen of high-ranked devils and nothing would happen to her."
"Oh, that's nice."
"But mom did say to make sure to keep an eye on you. She trusts you, but she wants to make sure that nothing bad happens with you as well." Rias mentioned before thinking about a way to do so. "Luckily, I have Kiba in your class and I have control with Sona over this territory. We should be able to keep you safe."
"Wait, why do I need protection?"
"Because my mother said that seeing as though you're barely reaching the point where you're being recognized by the higher ups, she said that you're still a child in the supernatural world."
"Hey! I'm not a child!"
"You're a child!" Rias declared.
"I'm almost an adult!"
"You're 17!"
"And what are you?"
"I'm 18! I'm an adult!" Rias barked at Issei.
What else could Issei say, "Well, you sure don't act like it."
"Look who's talking!"
Before anything could continue, Akeno stepped in and silenced the two of them up with her hands. "Alright, let's relax you two." Seeing as though they both had taken it a little further than needed, they both stayed silent and listened to Akeno. "Rias and Issei, let's discuss these things in the occult building rather than in the open."
Realizing that they have been talking openly about some supernatural stuff in the general public, Rias and Issei got embarrassed and nodded. Walking with the two women, Issei continued noticing the many stares that he was getting. Issei was gone for such a while, yet here he was alive and well. The school wasn't going to be very happy with his arrival back.
Once arriving at the occult building, Rias and Akeno opened the door to reveal Koneko and Kiba seated on the couch. Koneko, when seeing Issei even after him saving her master, still got on guard knowing his reputation in the school. Kiba simply waved his hand at Issei, "Hey, Issei!"
Waving his hand back, Issei walked into the building and started looking around. "This place is ancient."
"Hey! I take offense to that. It's just unique in its own way." Rias pointed to all the decorations around.
"Woah... Very boring."
Rias growled before sitting down at her desk. "Alright, since you will be working with us since we are on the same side, how about you join our club so it doesn't look weird when you just walk into our building?"
"Why would I do that? I want to join a different club."
"We have couches."
"The nurse has a bed."
"You can skip classes with this building and it won't be considered a violation."
"Skip... like could I skip a test?"
"Of course, I can always make an excuse powerful enough to rid an exam for the day." Rias smiled in triumph knowing this was the final straw to bring Issei into her little club. She knew for sure that bringing him into her peerage was a no, plus she wouldn't do that without his permission. At least having him connected with her through the club was good enough, and that she could communicate with him about the situation around the town. Having more allies was always a plus, especially with someone with a novice peerage such as hers.
"Yes!" Issei had a math exam tomorrow that he put on his calendar and forgot to study for. He was going to fail and needed a bail out card. His mother knew of the day of the exam since Issei mentioned it before this entire supernatural world happened to him so she wouldn't allow him to go to Sirzechs and wanted him to study. This was his chance of skipping classes that were useless to him, such as music class or PE, especially when he was far more powerful and fit compared to a regular human.
"Perfect!" Rias slammed her hands into the desk and noticed a teleportation circle appearing next to them.
Appearing beside Rias was Sirzechs and Grayfia. To others, the appearance of the Great Lucifer and her Queen was a sight to behold and they immediately bowed in the presence of the almighty. However, Issei was confused in how Sirzechs found him.
Sirzechs smiled when seeing her sister but when turning to see Issei... she looked confused before looking a little angry. Jealousy began bubbling inside her when seeing Issei hanging out with her sister rather than her. "Why Issei, I didn't expect to see you here speaking so comfortably with my sister. How long has this been happening?"
Issei replied instantaneously with, "4 minutes."
"BIG SIS! WHY ARE YOU HERE?" Rias screamed.
"I wanted to drop the news of Issei and I!" Sirzechs immediately switched her attention to her little sister. "I AM GOING TO MARRY HIM SOON!"
And with that... Rias fainted.
