Walking into the living room... Issei looked down to see blood. Backing away, Issei watched as his mother's lifeless face was left on the couch with blood escaping down to the ground seeping into the carpet. Next to her was his father's corpse with a hole straight through his stomach.
Walking hesitantly to the corpses with tears filling up his eyes, Issei could only mutter one word, "Mom?"
"Partner... I'm sorry..." Even Ddraig was shocked in seeing this happen. This couldn't have happened... this shouldn't have happened at all.
"Mom? Wake up?" Issei shook his mother's body hoping for her to wake up and say that this was just a prank.
No signs of her waking up...
No signs of his father breathing...
They were both dead...
The two most precious to him were gone. And what he didn't know was the person behind the murder.
Lifting his mother's corpse, Issei began shaking violently. So many emotions began running through his mind before it all changed to anger.
He was right in front of the house... He was right here to protect his parents if he didn't listen to Surtr.
It was his fault... Anger began raging through his mind as the boosted gear began subconsciously powering up. His body began ripping apart with the flesh tearing through the skin as his power was too immense for his body to handle, but he didn't care. He felt numb to it all.
