Issei Is Glad

"I had Issei on my chest and felt my heart beating."

"Didn't I tell you to wait a year before he becomes legal!" Grayfia screamed at Sirzechs.

"That's not the point! I felt my heart beating!"

"And I told you to wait a year!"

"You don't get it!"

"Yes I do!"

"He's supposed to be my bestest of friends. Not someone that makes my heart beat like crazy!"

Grayfia sighed, "Sirzechs, we both know that Issei is not only your best friend, your supportive buddy, but also someone that you care for deeply. Him causing for your heart to beat this wildly means one thing."

"No... don't tell me."

"It's a hunch, but maybe there's a chance that you only had your heart beating that madly because you were embarrassed. A Sirzechs that's red is someone who's easy to mess with."

Being reminded of her color when she's embarrassed caused her to get embarrassed again. Lightly pounding on Grayfia's chest, the latter could only chuckle.

"Do you think it's about time to tell Issei what's happening with your sister?"

Sirzechs slowly began frowning from hearing about her sister's arranged marriage once more. "Why would he need to know about her arrange marriage?"

"Think about it this way. You and I have seen the fight between Rias's peerage and Riser's peerage during the rating but, but the fight was close. Rias was able to train during the ten days given to her, but she still ultimately lost during the fight. However, you could still use Issei to fight for Rias's freedom." Grayfia began explaining her plan.

However, this caused the Sirzechs to frown and stopped Grayfia right there. "No, I will not be using Issei and take advantage of him. There is no way in hell that I will be using Issei as a way of escaping the consequences of my parents' actions."

"But think about it. We both want Rias out of that damn arrange marriage and seeing Issei's power right now, he would easily be able to deal with Riser. He's a dragon that can deal with those flames."

Shaking her head, Sirzechs walked away with some disappointment when seeing Grayfia come up with this plan. "I'm sorry, but I will not use Issei's trust against him. I will figure out a different way of getting her out of her marriage."

Grayfia remained silent with a slight somber expression. Once Sirzechs was out of her room, Grayfia began thinking to herself, 'This was the only way. Sirzechs doesn't see the fact that she doesn't have much time. Her sister's wedding is in one week and she doesn't have anyone that can fight against Riser. She is ultimately going to marry him without a choice in the matter or an escape method.'

Grayfia didn't like using Issei either, but the thing was that Issei was more than powerful enough to deal with Riser, and she could easily deal with bringing him into the matter by saying that he was someone that was an outsider to fight against Riser. Grayfia only needed to hurt Riser's pride before he would crumble and lash out against anyone, even the Lucifer herself.

Grayfia needed to explain this to Issei. Maybe they could get Rias out of this shithole that she has been placed in.

Walking in the middle of the hallway, Issei noticed Sirzechs's figure not too far in front of him and waved at her. "Sirzechs!"

The woman turned to him and lightly smiled. "Hey Issei."

"Whatcha doing?"

"I'm just going back to paperwork."

"Want to watch a movie during the night? I heard that its scary and very comedic."

Sirzechs eyes shined slightly before turning back to being somber, "I would love to but I have more work to do. I'll talk with you in a little bit." In truth, being reminded of her sister's situation was something that she hated. Luckily, she had Issei to deal with who was able to keep her mind preoccupied, but even when reminded of Rias's arranged marriage, her entire mood soured. She needed to deal with these arrange marriages once and for all because there would be no one to stop her once she had all the Satan's on her side.

Issei watched as Sirzechs walked away, leaving him confused. Sirzechs would never decline watching a movie, especially if it was comedic or scary and this movie was both. Blinking a couple of times, he moved on and continued walking until he reached the gym. Once opening the door, he met with Surtr and Tanin both waiting for him.

"Get your ass on that bench and we repping that shit out." Nodding to Surtr, Issei took off his shirt and started to bench with the gym bros.

Once he was done, Tanin would load up the barbell with a huge number of magical plates to make the weight immense. Once getting underneath, he began repping that shit out. Surtr was next and he did the exact same weight.

They continued working together until the very end where Issei could be seen exhausted. "You both don't fuck around with training."

"Of course they don't! They aren't soft like you."

"Nice encouraging words, partner." The three would chuckle at Issei's dilemma.

"Issei, want to join us on going to an arcade place in the underworld? We both are bored and have some free time."

"Sure, I haven't been to one in years."

With that, the boys headed out to enjoy the night.

"Fuck! How do I beat the monkey?" Issei screamed while holding the joystick in his hand and twisting it and turning it as fast as he could. "I have never seen a game move this fast!"

Tanin chuckled in seeing Issei trying to keep up with the blocks coming down in weird shapes. He needed to reach a certain score to move onto the next level. It's Tetris but for supernatural beings. "Of course not. These are enhanced to deal with supernatural beings' reaction speed. At level 4, you won't be able to handle it. The person who scored the highest in this game was our master, Sirzechs."

"Really?"

Surtr laughed before grabbing the stick from Issei's grip and began beating the level with ease. "if you thought the games in your world were unfair, wait until I show you a couple from Hell." Beating the level with ease, he gave the stick back to Issei. "I was fortunate enough to score in the top 10 on this game. Same with Tanin over there."

"Ajuka and Sirzechs are just monsters. They gap our scores by 5 levels alone. One day, we will reach that level."

"One day I will be on this leaderboard."

Tanin nudged Isseis shoulder playfully, "And we will make sure to overcome you and kick you off the list."

Issei pouted before turning his head to a different game. "Is that poker?"

"No, it's Joker. Same game but different mechanics. Guess who's the best at playing this game?"

"Sirzechs?" Tanin shook his head.

Surtr laughed before stating, "That imbecile wouldn't be able to come up with a strategy to these games even if she was given prep time from the way you said how bad she was at playing Mario Bros."

"No, the best player was rumored to be the Legend27."

"Who?"

"The Legend27 has never shown their face to the public. It is rumored that they show up and beat everyone and get their money and spend it all on beer."

"I heard that the Legend27 eats rocks for breakfast and shits out diamonds."

Tanin added, "I heard that the Legend27's sweat is the reason for why the Earth has an ocean."

Surtr decided to add in another claim, "I heard that the Legend27 had a stalemate with Chuck Norris."

"Really?" Issei was amazed to hear that.

Surtr nodded with Tanin. "One thing for sure is that the Legend27 is someone that no one should mess with."
