Chapter Nine

2 months later

Eric and I have been really good but recently his mother has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer so he doesn't want to talk to anybody including me, he's been pushing me away further and further. Like today I went to his house and when I knocked at the door there was no answer, I walked in and the house was dark. He was in his moms room crying, I tried to give him a hug and cuddle with him but he pushed me off the bed and told me to leave, that he would text me later but I never received a text.

Since its summer break I decided to go for a walk and try to lose weight because I haven't done anything the past few weeks. As I was walking I noticed a little boy sitting on a swing all alone, I walked over and sat in the swing next to him.

"Hi, what's your name?" I asked to the blonde boy

"I'm Latin" he said, he looked so much like-

"Latin come on" Luke said

I whipped around and seen the blonde that I knew oh so well, He looked at me and his eyes widened

"Okay daddy" Latin said and went to walk with Luke.

"Um Abby.. What're you doing here? Where's your boyfriend?" He said the word sounding like venom shooting from his mouth, I looked at Latin and controlled myself

"Me and him and going through a rough patch right now, not that it concerns you." I said rolling my eyes

"Daddy can she come with us? You talk about her a lot" Luke looked at him sharply,

"I don't think she wants to Latin" he smirked thinking he was going to get rid of me.

"No, I'll come. I have a few questions for you anyways Mr. Hemmings" I said smiling sarcastically.

As we walked through the park Latin held my hand,

"I didn't know you had a kid" I said to Luke

"Yeah well most people don't" he said "one night stand" he mouthed and I got the hint

"Well how old are you Latin?" I asked

"I'm 4" he said, and I nodded. The silence after that was awkward,

"Well I have a question for you Abby" Latin said, I smiled and nodded waiting for his question

"How do you know daddy?" He asked and I looked at Luke for an answer

"Um- I'm his student, he was my teacher last year in school" I said

"Abby could I talk to you alone?" Luke said "and then I'll take you out to eat" he said poking Latin's stomach. I followed Luke and he looked at me deeply,

"Okay talk" I said

"Abby...
