Chapter Twelve

I waited and waited for what felt like forever until I seen Lukes car pull up, he got out and walked over to me

"I met Courtney" I said crossing my arms

"Oh." He said rubbing the back of his head

"You didn't tell her about me?" I questioned

"No.." He said slowly

"Okay" I said and he leaned into kiss me, I couldn't exactly deny it. I kissed him back until we heard a cough loudly behind us

"Luke we need to talk" Courtney said

"When you drop off Latin we can talk" Luke stated

"Is she gonna be there?" Courtney sneered, I rolled my eyes and tapped Luke pointing to the car. I say in the car for what felt like hours by myself but it was actually only 7 minutes.

"What'd she say?" I asked quickly as Luke got into the car

"Um nothing important" he muttered starting to drive away from the building.

"Where are we going?" I asked

"I'm dropping you off." He said, his tone was low and off

"Luke are you okay?" I asked putting my hand on his shoulder but he dodged me and I backed away to the window.

I checked my phone to see messages from Eric

'Abby I love you'
'Please don't'
'You still went with the teacher? Calum said this wouldn't work'
'Fuck please come back' I sat there re-reading the messages. Calum said this wouldn't work? What?

"You can go now" Luke said and I didn't even notice we pulled up to my house, I nodded and got out of the car

"Luke what the fucks your problem?" I said holding onto the car

"It's nothing Abby go inside" he said and speed down the street, my eyes were widened.

I went inside excepting to see my family but nobody was here, I connected my phone to the Bluetooth on our smart TV and started playing 'Infinity' by One Direction

I danced into the kitchen singing the song loudly

"Oh.. I thought no one was home" I said awkwardly looking at my older brother

"Didn't mom tell you I was visiting for the weekend?" He said

"No, I haven't been home. My life's been so stressful" I said sitting down in one of the high chairs.

"What's been going on?" He asked, I looked at him with the 'do-you-really-wanna-know?' Look and he nodded

I told him the whole story from when I started the school year to the part where I was ditched by Luke outside.

"Oh shit Abby" he said thinking about everything, I nodded looking down at my light blue jeans. Fucked up huh?

"I don't know what to do" I stated

"I don't know either.. But on the good side I got a girlfriend" Louis smiled, I rolled my eyes and smiled as he pulled up his phone to show me the mysterious girl

"Oh damn she's pretty" I said looking at the brunette girl with brown eyes but even the dark color was glowing

"I know I got lucky yeah?" He smiled thinking of her

"Yeah I wish I was that lucky" I said putting my head on the counter top

"Cheer up, wanna go out tonight?" He winked and I smiled

"Where?" I asked

"Um Chandlers?" He offered and I smiled at the name of the club, he snuck me in there when I was 16 and he almost got arrested that night for letting a minor drink.

"Yeah yeah" I laughed at the memory

"You ready Abby?!" Louis yelled, I flattened out my cranberry dress and walked down stairs. My heels clinked against the hardwood floor annoyingly, but they matched the outfit perfectly.

"Okay don't let anyone have there way with you" he smiled and I nodded knowingly

"Oh great we're taking your car" I sighed and got into my brothers green car. don't ask me why it's green.

I sat down heavily and sighed, yeah I would probably have a hangover tomorrow and yeah I'm probably piss drunk but...

I dialed the number and heard it ring twice

"Babe I'm sorry about today she got me in-"

"You're an asshole!" I exclaimed

"I dumped a depressed person and lost my best friend because of you!" I spoke loudly over the music

"Where are you?!" Luke exclaimed

"Out! Why were you such a dick today!?" I yelled

"Because Courtney told me something I didn't want to hear! No where are you and I'll tell you when you're in my car and safe!" He said loudly

"Chandler.." I sighed in defeat, he would probably track my phone. I hung up and went outside, Louis ended up inviting that Lexi girl and ditched me but I didn't mind he needed love he's 25 this year..

"Oh Abby" I heard a familiar Australian accent but not the one I was hoping for

"Calum.."

A/N: so yeah? Hmm grr idk what to say.. Oops hi? Luke Hemmings is God basically and I'm doing a project on him in Spanish because we had to do a family tree.. 5 sauce tree guys ;)
