My feet hurt, my back aches, and I can feel each individual bead of sweat dripping down my neck.
The carpet below me helps cushion my weight as I struggle to hold myself up on all fours.
My stomach clenches tighter as I stare down at the backs of my hands. Short breathless pants fall from between my lips as I watch my arms shake beside me.
I don't weight a lot... I don't think, so how I'm able to do this for so long, is beyond me.
I bite my lip.
I squeeze my eyes closed hoping if I don't focus on the feeling, I'll be done soon. I force myself to stare at my pink finger tips.
"You got this Maison, 30 more seconds." I pant out.
My throat burns as I speak, and wiggle even harder at the harsh pain.
In desperate need of water, I give up, letting my arms buckle beneath me. My chest hits the carpet and I roll onto my back, staring at the ceiling.
Stars cloud my vision for a moment, as I dust away the stray sticky hairs covering and tickling my face.
I cant remember the last time I worked out, or better yet, tried to do a plank.
I sigh, picking myself up from the floor and reaching for my water bottle. The warm liquid doesn't do much to soothe me, but I know I'll be thankful for no cramps here in a minute.
The straw sputters to an end as I sip the last tiny bit, letting it soak into my tongue. I place it back on my nightstand.
The mirror on the dresser acrossed from my bed laughs at me and I watch my figure in the reflection.
The usual.
I have a good couple of weeks and then one incident happens and I'm back to my usual unhealthy habits.
