Anyways, back to the story.
Well, it seems the duo is in quite the predicament. An enemy, leader or not, had to be neutralized.
Alice: Anyways, you understand the orders.
Her voice swapped to much more corporally serious than before. But she didn't attack. Rather, she stood defensively in her spot. I mean, when was it ever a good idea to fight an unidentified PZ variant?
The duo stepped back slightly, their stance defensive aswell. They didn't know what Alice had in store for them, whether it be spikes, lava, beheading, or whatever other torture method available.
To test the waters, Aizen lobbed a quick shot at the enemy, hoping to catch her off guard. Sadly, she staggered her body out of the way before it hit her.
Alice: Please stop with the beams.
She whipped out her knife, one only a little larger than Alli's pocket one. Now, she was walking swiftly towards them, knife held tightly around her hand in reverse grip.
Alli: Tch, no thanks.
She swiped at her face once more, and once more did she defend. Aizen butted in a surprise lick, his sword dashing towards Alice's abdomen. Despite her attempt to jump out of the way, it took a quick and sharp cut at her clothing, hitting a pretty deep slit in her.
Alice: ...That hurts, more than I would've expected.
She stated in a monotone voice, almost sarcastic. Alice then stepped back, her left hand cupping the cut in pain.
Alice: Stay aware, your goal is to kill. Not injure.
A smug grin caught in her face before she darted off into the darkness.
Aizen: ...that's kind of the reason we're here, soooo-
Alli: Fair point. Now, we run!!!
They chased after her, Alli's dim phone flashlight barely illuminating the corridors ahead. They were relying on her echoed footsteps to follow her trail. And they did hope they were right. Otherwise, they would be lost in pure shadows.
Alli & Aizen: Where is she?!?!
They continued running, the sound of their footsteps paired with Alice's being the only noises interrupting. Unlike the duo, Alice wasn't a fool, more or less at least. She was tactical and calculated. Why would her PZ name be "IQ2"?
