Shaira was hundred percent happy with the outcome but she was satisfied with it. The first hand experience of the court was quite chilling for her.

"Shacks, I want to talk to you."

Daniel said as he walked side by side with Shaira. He was still stuck upon the things Shaira said and he knew everything that happened so far was not her fault. He was guilty too.

Shaira's step halted as she heard her nickname. Her eyes confused as realisation stuck her.

Now, Daniel knew. If not whole but he has sensed something was wrong.

"Everything could not happen at your pace, Mr. Daniel. I gave you a chance. I want time and till then, we are just someone linked on professional terms, that's all."

Daniel's eyes turned wide as Shaira gave him a hard look and he very well knew why. She trusted him. Even after knowing everything about her, Daniel was drowned in the pain of losing a friend and that's what led to this situation to begin with.

Daniel simply nodded as to not sullen her mood any further. The roles are now reversed and it would not be easy for Daniel to make her open up again. Shaira was always a tough nut to crack and now with her confidence, it's impossible to get to her.

Daniel sighed as he saw Shaira leaving silently after giving a brief smile to her brother. Daniel couldn't tell why she lied about them in court today but he could feel a tense atmosphere there.

After all this, Daniel knew one thing, he wanted his best friend back and all the stories she has been hiding.

...

Shaira sighed as she sat in the farthest corner of Sunflower Cafe. Her humble abode. Her solace. Her calm in the middle of chaos. As she looked at the surroundings she felt nostalgic. She couldn't help but remember all those experiences when she worked here. It was the best thing ever. Although Idorado, the owner died, Shaira could see his sons keeping his legacy and that made her more happy than ever.

Shaira took a deep breath as she took a sip from her hot chocolate. She loved those. Her eyes reflected all the lights in the cafe as she smiled.

The case was not at all over but she could take it as a little win. She didn't shatter with all the memories that the lawyer made her saw again.

"I never expected you to come here after the hearing."

Shaira heard a sweet voice behind her.

"Where did you expect me, Rina?"

"Anywhere but here."

Sabrina smiled as she sat in front of her.  A beautiful diamond ring sat on her ring finger. Sabrina was not like that before. She was kind of a tomboy. She always wore that baggy jeans with t shirts which Shaira loved about her. She was effortlessly hers but now she was more posh. She wore long dresses with sexy yet elegant cuts. Her tattoos are peeling here and there. Shaira liked that change in her. She don't know why but all these things just added a lot of depth to her character and personality.

"What are you thinking?"

Shaira's eyes snapped as Sabrina smiled at her.

"Nothing. Just like that."

Shaira said as she smiled for the first time in a while. Sabrina gasped as he saw the ice queen beauty smiling at her. She never saw Shaira smiling like that in any of the photographs. Sabrina's eyes mellowed down in happiness as she looked at her.

"How are you here?"

Shaira asked as she took another sip.

"You would be surprised to know that I am a regular here. After you went, I think this place stuck with me. "
