When I first entered class, I didn't know what to expect. Well, I can honestly say I was disappointed. There was the obvious stereotypes. There was the pretty girl, who I happened to get seated next to. Her boyfriend kept looking at her, flirting with his eyes, he looked like the jock type. Pretty blue eyes and blonde hair. I also noticed the other guy, he was the stereotypical mystery guy who- also, would not stop starring at the girl. Then, there was the obvious fleeting looks between the hot teacher and the schools slut. Can I just say, their relationship should not be that big of a secret? Like for real, they keep looking at each other and looking away. Okay, in their defense, I was really observant for a teenage girl. I could tell you a lot about a person just by looking at them... I can't help it really, I blame the blog. Looking around, I saw an empty seat in front of Noah, so I decided to take it.

Sitting in the seat, I turned around to be greeted by Noah. Smiling at him, I snickered, my eyes flashing over to the girl in the back. She was the girl form earlier, the one with the rocking hair. Beside her, there were empty seats on both sides. Standing from my seat and earning a shocked look from Noah, I made my way to the back, taking the seat on the right of her. Her eyes widened, the look she gave me making it clear that this didn't happen often.

"Hi, I'm Vex." I said, looking over at her. She was rocking the leather along with her short due.

"Um, hi? I'm- uh, Audrey." She didn't seemed frightened, nor socially awkward. Her attitude was more along the lines of "Why are you talking to me."

"Well, Audrey, do you mind if I sit here?" I asked, setting my bag on the desktop. Her eyebrows flicked up for a moment, suddenly, I heard Noah's voice from only a few seats up.

"Audrey, she's the owner of The Last Scream." Audrey's eyes nearly popped out of her head. Looking at me, she seemed lost for words- just as Noah had been.

"No way, you own The Last Scream? That's like, my favorite internet blog! You're like, freaking famous here!" And she was right, once everyone had heard it, they turned towards me. Even Mr.I'm hot and date underage students looked up at me surprisingly.

"You own that website? I myself have had the time to take a look at it and I must say, I love you work." His eyes scanned me for a brief moment before they shot back to the blonde who he was obviously fucking. She had jealousy in her eyes, well honey, I'm not competition.

"Uh, yeah. It was originally just my school's blog but when I learned I was moving here, the principal gave me rights to it. Now, it's where I put all the horrors of the world." The blonde rolled her eyes, looking back at me.

"Well, since you're basically famous- you should be sitting with Audrey, she's famous too." I heard snickers run through the classroom. "I mean, you're both obviously freaks. Now, you can be freaks together." I looked over at Audrey who, if looks could kill, she'd have murdered just about everyone in this room. So, I stood up.

"You know what, maybe you should shut your mouth. I don't hear people talking about you for anything. Shows how popular you are. Though, I have heard somethings. Maybe everyone in here would like to know what you do with your free time?" Her eyes widened, obviously not expecting my onslaught.

"You don't know anything about me." She said, trying to keep her composure. I smiled, standing up and moving closer to her until I was right in her face.

"I know a lot more about you than you think. Now, why don't you leave us alone." I lowered my voice to a whisper so that no one else would hear. "Wouldn't want the school board learning about your little secret, now would we?" My eyes flickered to the teacher, his face instantly going pale before returning back to the blonde. She looked just as pale, and completely embarrassed. No one had ever stood up to her before, not like that. Smiling, I turned, going back to my seat. Looking over at Audrey, I saw her smiling, not even trying to hide it.

"You can totally sit here." Chuckling lightly, I sat down and looked back to the front where the teacher was regaining his composure. Looking at the name tag, I read Mr. Branson. He still wasn't speaking, so I decided to pipe up. It's my first day of school and already, I've offended one of the populars, why not go even further?

"Mr. Branson, you can begin now- I'm done with my little speech." Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, he smiled slightly before beginning the class.

Okay, so I hadn't really been paying attention, my mind had been somewhere else. Suddenly though, I heard the class begin to discuss horror movies.

"Or some rotting flesh. Kieran's right. The gothic genre is all over TV right now. 'American Horror Story', 'Hannibal', 'Bates Motel.'" For the start of that, I believe they were discussing the Walking Dead, but that completely left my mind as the boy spoke up once more.

"What about 'Texas Chainsaw' or 'Halloween?'" He asked. Noah spoke up, taking the spotlight off of Mr. Branson and the kid.

"Those are slasher movies. You can't do a slasher movie as a TV series." He sounded confident, like nothing in the world could persuade him otherwise. Smiling a little, I peeked at Audrey who motioned her hand to go ahead, she knew it too.

"How do you know that Noah? I mean, come on. I think you could turn a slasher into a show. Come on, the main character is of course stalked but, the writers of the show just have to make one thing clear." Mr. Branson took a seat onto his desk, looking at me.

"And what would that be Ms. Wilson?" Smiling, I shrugged.

"Isn't it obvious. No one is safe. Everyone and anyone can be killed. Now, continue Noah, I want to hear more of your side." Noah smiled back at me, shaking his head slightly. Mr. Branson motioned to him, urging him to continue as well.

"Think about it. Girl and her friends arrive at the dance, the camp, the deserted town, whatever. Killer takes them out one-by-one. Ninety minutes later, the sun comes up and survivor girl sits in the ambulance watching her friends bodies being wheeled past. Slasher movies burn bright and fast. TV needs to drag things out. You, know by the time the first body is found- it's only a matter of time before the blood bath commences" Pursing my lips, I nodded as everyone now looked back at me, waiting for my point to be made.

"Well yeah, of course they do. But haven't you thought of other movies that they've now turned into TV shows? Teen Wolf was just a comedic movie that's now some 5 season TV show. Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Those are a couple options we can look at. We have advanced so far yet, we keep getting stupider. In all honesty, I believe that they could make a slasher into a TV series and people would watch it. They watched the movie so they'll watch the show. We humans have a knack for drawing things out." Smiling slightly, Mr. Branson stood from his desk.

"Well, I didn't really expect this conversation to become a debate. Then again, I shouldn't have let two slasher movie experts take a hit at it. I've learned my lesson." With a smirk, I looked at a smiling Noah, sending him a wink before looking over at Audrey who was shaking her head, a wide smile resting on her face.

Well, I really hope you liked this so far. Yes, Vex is the queen of sass and the queen of slasher movies. Though truthfully, I want to know. Do you guys think her argument was valid? Or did Noah completely knock her out?
