*Vex*

Arriving home, I saw that nobody was there. Quickly heading in side, I didn't even stop at my bed. I headed straight for my shower, stripping down and walking into the hot water. So much had happened in such a short 2 weeks. Why would someone want to kill Riley? Or Rachel? I can understand Nina and even possibly Tyler but the other two, why them?

Questions continued to plague my mind as I shut off the water, grabbing the towel I had laid out on the counter. Wrapping it securely around myself, I stepped out into my room, rummaging through my drawers until I came up with a pair of Adidas sweats and an orange tank top. Throwing on the clothes, I threw myself onto the bed, grabbing my laptop.

"Time for a little update my Screamers." Clicking open my blog, I set my mind to the task and began to type.

The Killer's Motive-
A killers motive is generally sick and twisted, a joke that went wrong, a bad childhood- all which lead to the same outcome; they begin to kill. For Freddy Krueger there's different theories, one of the most popular ones, he was burned by a mob of angry parents. You get my point right? Horror movie villains are just like action movie villains- all of them have a reason for what they do. So, for small town Lakewood, what is the reason for these murders? Why Brandon James? Motive is key, generally, it's about revenge. So what has these latest 4 victims done to deserve death?

Closing my laptop, I sighed. That was the shit, I guess Audrey and Noah are right, I need to sleep. Placing my laptop on the floor, I rolled over, pulling the covers out from under me and crawling in between the sheets. With a loud yawn, I closed my eyes. For a moment, I thought it was pointless, I couldn't fall asleep now. Then, I found I was wrong.

I was woken by the sound of my phone going off, groaning, I rolled over, reaching out for it. I didn't even bother to open my eyes as I pressed the answer button and held it to my ear.

"Hello?" I moaned, rolling back over until my face was pressed into the pillow.

"Well, as nice as your ear looks, I was hoping I could talk to you face-to-face." A small smile lit my face at the sound of Noah's sarcasm. Pulling the phone back, I peeked open my eyes to see a smiling Noah on the same couch I had left him.

"What you want Foster?" I asked, closing my eyes once more and rolling over. I propped my phone against one of my pillows so I could sleep talk to him.

"Geez, can't a friend call another friend?" He asked with a light laugh. Smiling, I nodded.

"Do you want me to come over again?" There was silence on the other line for a few moments. Opening my eyes, I saw that Noah had a sad smile on his face.

"If it's not a problem." Grabbing my phone, I stood out of my bed, walking over to my desk and propping the phone up on the wall.

"One second, I'll be right back." Leaving Noah on the chat, I left for the bathroom for a few freshening up minutes. As I made my way back to the room, I heard him yelling my name- Noah Foster, the definition of patient.

"Okay, okay, I'm back. I'm on my way now." He smiled at me, ending the call without saying another word. Shaking my head, I grabbed my keys off my desk before practically running down the stairs and out the door. Getting into my truck, I wasted no time starting the engine and backing out of the drive, heading towards Noah's batcave.

Walking in, I was instantly greeted with a shout from Noah who's character was being shot down by the police. Smiling, I walked over to him, placing my hands over his eyes so he was blocked from seeing his character die.

"Damn you Vex!" He shouted playful, reaching up to remove my hands. Laughing, I hopped over the couch, landing right next to Noah.

"How's it going?" I asked, poking him in the arm as he paused his game. He turned to me, a small smile on his face.

"Definitely a little better, I'm sorry I woke you up, I just needed a friend here." Smiling, I shrugged.

"It's fine really, I'll just sleep on you while you get into fights with the cops." Noah scoffed, looking back at the TV.

"I do not get into fights with the cops. The cops get into fights with me. I simply have to defend my self." Laughing, I laid my head down on his thigh, stretching out onto the couch while he began to play again.

"So Noah, tell me something. What's your favorite scary movie?" I questioned. I felt to wide awake now to go back to sleep so instead, I would ask him about himself.

"Hmm, I'm not quite sure on that. I love the classics, you know, Silence of the Lambs with Hannibal Lecter as Anthony Hopkins. Or, you know, I always had a weird fetish for Nightmare on Elm Street, the original of course. I hated the second one, definitely not as cool as the first." Smiling, I sat up just a little, enough to look into his eyes.

"I to have a fetish for that movie. Okay, so The Exorcist?" His eyes lit up like a child on Christmas.

"Okay, maybe one of my personal favorites, I mean, come on. Child possession that is equally both super creepy and scary as well as funny? It was like the perfect combination that was then made into the perfect horror movie." Chuckling, I laid my head back down, or at least, I tried. Noah stood up, walking over to a small cabinet and opening it. Inside, there were rows of movies lining the shelves. Carefully, he looked through it before grabbing a movie. Walking over to the game counsel, he popped in the movie while removing the game and clicking off the two smaller TV sets. With a smile, he turned off the lights and sat back down with me, a wide smile on his face.

"Horror movie time." A wide smile spread across my face as I jumped up, resting my head on his shoulder as he pressed a button on the controller, starting the movie. Of course, it was The Exorcist, it's opening giving you the sense of mystery that the directors so cleverly set up. Throughout the movie, we laughed through some of the funniest bits of cheesiest horror. Like, where the girl's head spins around or she pee's on the carpet. As it ended, I looked up at Noah who was smiling brightly at me, his eyes holding a mix of emotions.

"You get so in to these movies, you know that?" Laughing a little, I nodded, resting my head back down on his shoulder.

"It's a habit. When I watch a horror movie, I like to imagine what it would be like living in one." I felt Noah shake slightly, a silent laugh coursing through him.

"That's an interesting way to watch a horror movie, I like it." Poking him in the stomach, I laughed a little more.

"Well, I do write a horror blog, I have to look at things with a different perspective." Rolling his eyes, Noah stood up, holding out a hand to me.

"I need to go home and take a nice, warm shower. You can come over if you want, but you'll need to give me like 5 minutes to freshen up." He used my words from earlier, a small smirk on his face. Shaking my head with a chuckle, I let him lead me out of the place.

"How do you get home from here?" I asked, noticing my car was the only one in the lot.

"Well, my house is literally a half a mile away, so I usually just walk." Holding onto his hand, I led him to my truck, forcing him in before hopping in myself.

"To Casa De Foster!" I shouted, starting the engine and backing out.
