In the dimly lit room of the Ramirez household, Eztli cautiously pushed open the creaking door. Peeking inside, her heart skipped a beat as she came face to face with a young girl standing in the center of the room, her eyes wide with an otherworldly intensity.
Mr. Ramirez's soothing voice broke the tense silence, "Don't worry, honey. Go back to bed, okay?" His daughter, Mireya, cast a hesitant glance at the girl before obediently retreating to her bed.
Eztli stood there, her mind racing with questions. How had you managed to command the girl's obedience? She heard how possessed individuals had been chaotic, filled with curses and unearthly contortions. This girl, however, seemed different.
Zacil, shook her head in disbelief, "What on earth are you talking about, Eztli? You've been watching too many movies." She pointed out the possibility of violent outbursts caused by different types of spirits that may have possessed the girl.
Eztli's gaze hardened with determination. "Sometimes they get violent, but this girl's soul still seems conscious of itself, at least to some extent. We need to act fast to ensure the possession doesn't progress."
Meanwhile, Mr. Ramirez, filled with concern for his daughter's well-being, reassured her, "Don't worry, honey. They've come to help you. You'll be okay." Deep down, he harbored a fear of the unknown, hoping that Zacil can bring her down to herself.
As Rono and Konane was catching Zacil they also wanted to assist. "Are you sure about this?" Zacil asked, her eyes reflecting apprehension.
Zacil nodded firmly. " We need to identify the kind of spirit we're facing—whether it's a vengeful human spirit or something else entirely. Be prepared for anything." Rono was ready for his camera while Konane readied his recorder to capture any paranormal occurrences.
As the group prepared themselves for the unknown, the air in the room grew heavy with anticipation. Eztli's mind raced with possibilities, each more terrifying than the last. The faint sound of whispers and shuffling filled the room, sending a shiver down her spine.
