But relief washed over Konane as he saw the flicker of recognition in Mireya's eyes. "Look, Konane, she woke up! Oh, I'm so glad you're okay," he exclaimed, his relief palpable. Don't worry, you can trust us. Your dad asked us to help you, but things got a little out of control."

In the midst of their reunion, Mireya's thoughts turned to her father, his absence weighing heavily on her mind. "Dad... you know my dad, is he here?" Mireya, her eyes wide with fear. We think he is. He's been trying to help you since you wound up in here."

But their moment of respite was short-lived, for Mireya's words carried a sense of urgency. "We need to get out of this place... before that demon finds us. The thing trapped me here... every tree in this forest is a trapped soul."

"I'll take you," offered Rono, with determination. "Konane, the sooner we find the others, the better."

Meanwhile, Patli found Eztli and Zacil, who had been missing, suddenly emerged from the shadows. "How did you get here?" inquired Zacil, concern evident in her voice.

Zacil replied, "The spirit that possessed Mireya found me. If it hadn't been for Eztli, I wouldn't have made it out alive. She risked her life to save me. I appreciate it so much, sweetheart."

Eztli, a figure in the group, added, "Wait a minute, where is Peta, Rono, and Konane?"Patli explained, "Peta is with Mr. Martinez. We ran into him when we first came in. I still haven't seen Rono and Konane. I'll take you to them so we can look for them. Come on, Zacil, let's hurry. They could be in danger too."

As they navigated through the thick foliage and twisted paths of the forest, a sense of impending darkness loomed over them.

Peta was desperately running after Mr. Ramirez, who was chasing after an illusionary figure resembling his daughter.

"Mr Ramirez, don't get too close!" Peta warned. Mr. Ramirez reached out to touch the illusion, only to discover it was a mere tree, a cruel trick of the Xayacatl.

The sinister presence of Xayacatl. materialized before them, its malevolent intent palpable in the air. As it moved to attack Mr. Ramirez, Peta acted swiftly, pushing him out of harm's way. The ground trembled as both Peta and Mr. Ramirez fell, vulnerable in the face of this supernatural threat.

"I'm sick of this!" the Xayacatl., its voice dripping with malice. "All of you know how to hide and run. But you can't escape your fate. Soon, you'll become a part of this enormous forest, trapped here forever."
