"SHIGA MARUTA, ALSO KNOWN AS GARAKI KYUDAI," Tsukauchi began. "Quirk: None. Founder and CEO of Jakku General Hospital. He's long been regarded as a pioneer in quirk-based community healthcare. After establishing the hospital, he shifted his focus to philanthropic work."
The room, filled with heroes, police officers, and members of the Hero Commission, was silent except for the occasional shuffle of papers or quiet murmurs. All eyes were fixed on the detective as he continued.
"He's set up orphanages and nursing homes across the country, partnering with private clinics to extend his reach. On paper, it's an extraordinary résumé. His work has earned him widespread respect."
"So why this guy?" Rock Lock asked, his brows furrowed as he crossed his arms.
"We have reason to believe it's all a front. The breakthrough came when one of U.A.'s students, Akame Yukie, managed to infiltrate Kurogiri's mind. With additional information gathered by our undercover agents, we uncovered something... disturbing."
He gestured to a screen, and an image flickered into view: a grainy photograph of a doctor entering a dimly lit room. In the corner of the room, partially obscured by shadows, stood a small Nomu—its grotesque form barely reaching knee height.
"Gross! A tiny Nomu!" Pixie-Bob exclaimed in visible disgust.
Tsukauchi pressed on, his tone growing heavier. "Blueprints of the hospital reveal an unlabelled space accessible only through the morgue. It's an area even most workers are unaware of. Only Shiga has access. If we mess this up..." He paused, letting the weight of his words settle over the room. "Our people on the front lines will be exposed. We've seen the devastation of Hosu, Kamino, and Kamigyo. Shiga, the League of Villains, the Nomu, Shigaraki... no, the Paranormal Liberation Front. This isn't just a raid; this is destiny. We must eradicate them entirely."
Two teams would lead the charge: Endeavor's team, tasked with securing Garaki Kyudai at Jakku Hospital, and EdgeShot's team, set to raid Gunga Mountain Villa, the Paranormal Liberation Front's suspected headquarters. Each team would split into front and back lines.
Mirko stood at the forefront, her muscles coiled ready to explode. With a fierce cry, she kicked the reinforced door, splintering it into shards and sending a cloud of dust cascading into the sterile corridor. The crash echoed through the hospital, followed by the shatter of glass as her powerful legs destroyed the lab equipment within.
"So you're the real deal, huh?" Mirko sneered, her grin wild with adrenaline as she locked eyes with Dr. Garaki.
The doctor stumbled back, panic etched across his face, as he reached for a hidden console. Alarms blared, and from the shadows emerged several black Nomu—grotesque creations, their bodies pulsating with unnatural energy.
