❟❛❟ CHAPTER FIFTY ONE ❟❛❟

EVEN THE SMALLEST SHIFT IN POWER THREATENED TO annihilate everything around her. One misstep, one wild swing, and Sendai would be gone in an instant. She gritted her teeth, suppressing the raw power thrumming through her every movement.

She guided the towering construct with precision, holding back the kind of strength that once cracked mountains.

Above her, news helicopters buzzed like persistent flies, their presence infuriating. Red lights blinked. Lenses zoomed. The journalists were shouting into headsets, their voices lost in the storm.

The battle still raged—already ten minutes, though it felt like hours for everyone.

Sekka hurled another wave of frost petals toward her, each shard capable of freezing chakra on contact. Akame blocked with crossed blades, the petals crashing against Susanoo's armor. Then came Reishi from above, his palm glowing with compressed gravitational force.

Akame responded instantly.

Her Susanoo's wings unfolded. Wind exploded outward as she took flight, rising fast above the ruined city. She twisted her upper body, and with one sweeping slash of her katana, she aimed directly at Sekka.

The blade cut through the sky itself. A sonic boom followed, breaking apart Sekka's frigid shield and forcing her to fall back.

Still, neither of them stopped.

Akame shifted again, drawing the fight away. She rose higher, baiting them with calculated strikes, never staying in one place too long. Step by step, clash by clash, she lured them—out of the city, out of Miyagi—out across the sea.

"Running away?! Ha!"

The ocean glinted beneath her. The land behind them faded. Up ahead, a patch of dark green emerged in the vast blue—an uninhabited island, far from the Japanese mainland.

The moment Akame's Susanoo touched down, the earth cracked beneath its feet. A low, guttural quake rippled outward. Birds scattered from the trees. The sea rose in violent tides. And in the sky, they descended.

Akame exhaled quietly, almost to herself. "At least here..." Her crimson Sharingan narrowed on her enemies as they descended after her. "...I don't have to hold back."

Sekka hovered just above the ground like a winter wraith, her presence quiet. Ice formed in her wake, crawling outward across the rock. Beside her, Reishi stood midair with an amused smirk, arms folded as though this was all a game. But even he watched with more caution now.
