❟❛❟ CHAPTER FORTY SIX ❟❛❟

THUNDER CRACKED THROUGH THE SKY, rattling the battlefield with its fury.

Tokoyami attacked first. His movement was sharper—faster. He suddenly appeared behind All For One, wings spread wide like a shroud of darkness. A sharp crow screech echoed as he slashed down with a clawed hand, shadows trailing behind his motion.

All For One was thrown a few meters back, caught off guard.

He barely had time to breathe before a flicker of light shot past his side.

A blue skeletal humanoid emerged behind him, moving like lightning. The air cracked. The sword it held shimmered with energy before it swung in a clean, precise arc. A streak of blue light followed, cutting through the darkness like a blade through silk.

The strike landed lightly, but it carried weight—forcing All For One's body to jolt again.

"So fast..." he grunted, eyes narrowing. His body tensed. From his arm, several red tendrils shot forward, alive with energy, slashing toward the girl standing just beyond the dust.

The tendrils reached her in seconds.

But were gone in one.

They dropped to the ground, severed, hissing faintly with smoke at the edges.

Akame had moved. Her stance shifted slightly as she stepped forward, her sword extended at her side. The steel hummed faintly, as if it resonated with the air itself.

Wind stirred around her feet. Dust floated in the still air between movements.

Then the growl came.

"Don't forget about me."

All For One's eyes flicked up.

Above, the dragon circled. Its long body rippled through the clouds like a storm given life. Shadows trailed from its scales—layered like thunderclouds—each one flickering faintly with veins of lightning. It let out a low growl, rumbling across the sky like distant thunder, as if sensing its master's tension below.

The dragon roared.

It dove, wrapping around All For One like a serpent. Without giving him time to react, it dragged him into the air. The clouds swallowed them both for a brief second—then split open as the dragon hurled him down with brutal force.

All For One crashed hard, the ground cracking beneath him.

Smoke and rubble rose around him, but he floated up again, stabilizing with his quirk. His breathing was heavier now. From his back, black tendrils burst out—elongated, jointed like spider legs, sharp and twitching. With a command, they launched forward at high speed.
