(Calum's Pov.)
I stared at the front door through my car window. I had been waiting weeks to go through with this plan but until today i didn't have enough courage to do it, and as i sat here in my car i realized i still didnt. It was too late to turn back though.
The thing holding me back was the fact that i know she didn't want me here. It hurt, but Ella had thought up this "great plan" and was confident it would work. I thought back to the last time i saw Ashley. We had a run in at the store. She wouldn't even look at me, let alone say hi.
Thats when i vaguely saw a movement in the front window, and i realize i had to do something before the cops were called or something. So i grabbed the bit of confidence i had and got out of the car.
I walked up the pathway leading to the front door and i could feel my heartbeat in every part of my body. Knocking three times, i stood and waited. The door opened slowly and i was met face to face with the girl i wanted more than anything to become closer with. My match.
~(Ashley's Pov.)
I heard the door knock and i shuddered. He had been sitting out front for at least a half hour and he finally decided to walk up. My mother gave me a stern glance from across the room. I had told her about Calum, and she was furious that i was running away from my match. So when the knocking came she forced me to answer it.
I opened the large door to see him standing there and when i saw the look in his soft brown eyes mine fell to the floor.
"Ashley, i wanted to know if you would accompany me on a picnic?" He asked quietly, but loudly enough for my mother to hear and squeal with delight.
Running over she answered for me "Of course! She would be delighted to! Come in and lets give her time to get changed." Before i could process Calum was being ushered inside and i was being pushed upstairs by my mother.

After about twenty minutes i was done getting ready, tying up my boots before slowly making my way down the stairs. When i got to the bottom everyone's eyes fell on me.
"Ashley that isn't an appropriate outfit for a date you have to dress up in the appropriate clothing, not street clothes", she scolded.
"Actually i think she looks perfect" Calum mumbled causing me to blush.
After a few minutes of awkward silence Calum said his goodbyes to my mother and i followed him out the door to his car.

The drive was silent aside from the music playing lowly through the speakers. Thankfully it didn't take too long to reach our destination, Calum helping me out of the car and turning me around.
"Can i blindfold you so it is a surprise?" He asked quietly.
I nodded "As long as you aren't kidnapping me" He smiled and pulled a red bandana from his pocket, tying it over my eyes and guiding me forward.
We walked for a bit and i felt Calum shift and open a door for me. When i walked through the doorway i instantly felt warm, compared to the frigid temperatures outside. Suddenly i felt the fabric being untied from around my eyes, and when my sight adjusted i was astonished.
We were in a flower sanctuary decorated with beautiful flowers and fairy lights. I wandered around the small area and after rounding a corner i saw a picnic set up in the center of many beautiful floral arrangements. I stood shocked into silence.
"If you were wondering, Ella helped me set this up" he mumbled while looking at the ground. I turned to him quickly, my eyes softening.
"Calum its lovely."
This comment caused the brown eyed boy to grin from ear to ear and he motioned for me to sit down. As i sat i shrugged off my leather jacket.
The next hour was spent making conversation and eating delicious food that was apparently prepared by Calum's mom. I felt so happy and thankful.. Why had i been running from someone so amazing?
"Ashley.. I know that you've been running for so long, but i wanted to know if you would just give me one chance?" I looked into his eyes and smiled. This was obviously the only answer he needed.

After the amazing food we drove home. We held hands as he walked me to the front door and once we reached it we just looked at each other. I hugged him and he hugged back so tight like he didn't want to let go. Eventually we pulled away but when we did Calum tilted my chin up so i was looking into the brown eyes i was growing to love.
Before i knew what was happening he pressed his lips to mine and kissed me goodbye. Putting a perfect ending to a surprisingly perfect night.
