I get it, you have work and all. But shouldn't family come first? Not that I care, but don't you think you're mum should be there on her daughter's birthday? Not like its a huge thing, I'm only turning sixteen. Its not that big, but still. Mum has some stupid long trip she has to make and go to America for three weeks. And within those three weeks its my birthday. Which is next Friday.

And the best part of this little thing, I'm stay across the street. With the Hemmings. Because its so hard to Liz to call me or send Luke over to check up on me. Because twenty feet is so fucking hard.

Damn you mother.

Damn you.

I love her, I really do. But she couldn't take me with her because its business only, no family. Bull fucking shit.

Because of that, I have to pack a damn bag to walk across the street. Nice mum, really nice.

Lucky for me she's leaving on a Wednesday, which means since I normally miss my first three classes when I go to my dad's. So I can miss today first three classes. Liz went to work, Ben and Jack went back to their place after visiting Liz for awhile. So it would just be Luke there.

"Hey, at least we get to miss Eden." Luke said happily. He was sitting upside down on my bed, his feet leaning against the wall above him. "I do, you have him fourth. We're only missing three classes." I laugh pulling a band shirt off the hanger looking back as I tossed it into the suitcase on the left side of Luke.

"Can't we miss four?" he pouted. I sigh shaking my head turning towards my closet again. How the hell am I supposed to pack for three weeks? "No Lucas. We already skipped three times this week." Luke groaned, "Bu ca-did you just call me Lucas?" I smile as a pull off couple more shirts, "No, of course not." Luke huffs, "I don't know why you call me that, its not even my name."

"I call Ben, Benjamin." I look over my shoulder, "But I'm not Ben." Luke says narrowing his eyes slightly. "Really?" I gasp. "Shut up." I roll my eyes walking over to the suitcase, "I thought you got rid of this." I look over at Luke and he was holding the penguin. I shake my head looking back down folding all the clothes. "Did you throw everything away?" Luke said quietly.

I look over at him tucking hair behind my ear. Even though he held a strong facial expression, he was hurt. "Where is it all?" he looked back at the wall sighing softly. It was shaking, like he was going to cry. But knowing Luke, he wouldn't. He always bottles up all his feelings until either one it explodes and gets angry at everyone or he has a panic attack.

I hate both, throughout the years I only seen one time he blow up and two panic attacks. Lucky for him, we were at my house and mum new what to do.

Since his last one, when he was fourteen, I tried making him talk about his feelings. Which didn't really help since I  was the one getting annoyed or angry.

I don't know if he ever had one since than, I could ask Liz.

I climb on the bed to his right and sit down leaning against the wall, I look down at him and he continued to stare at the wall flicking the penguin's feet with his fingers. "No." I say smiling lightly, he looked over. "Why keep it? I fucked up. I wouldn't be in the same room as me if I were you." he dropped his hands looking back at the wall.

"Why do you think I avoided you for like two years? I was pissed, but it finally got through my head I can't be mad at you forever. I think a small part of me had that feeling when I was putting everything away. I kept some of your stuff, and I know you kept some of mine. Even though, yes you did fuck up, its us. Jesse and Luke, Luke and Jesse. We fight we make up."

He looked over raising his eyebrows, "I like Luke and Jesse." the corners of his mouth went up in a tight smile before dropping back down into a straight line. "I like Jesse and Luke." I frown. He shakes his head, "Luke and Jesse or you don't get food." he smiled closing his eyes. I grab the penguin from him before jumping off the bed. "Hey." he wined falling to his side reaching his arm out grabbing the ends of my shirt.
