"Oh, little Lukey brought a friend."

Michael, I'll push you in front of a car.

Luke begged me to eat with him at lunch, Kenzie and her friends ditched Calum, Luke and Michael to sit somewhere else. But lucky for me they sat couple tables away from Alex, Kate and Andy.

Who were now apparently the bitches slash gossip girls of the school according to Luke.

I roll my eyes sitting down next to Luke setting my bag down to my right on the floor. "So, Jesse. I hear you're staying at Luke's house for three weeks." Michael said leaning over the table. I nod pushing my hair back running it threw my fingers, "Are you coming to our gig tonight?" Calum asked.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to ask you that." Luke said. I shake my head, "Yeah, I'll come." Michael smiled, oh fuck. "Wonderful, you get to hear our new song." he said. Luke cleared his throat adjusting the way he sat, "Luke wrote it, all by himself." he pushed. "Shut up." Luke sighed.

Luke was still wearing my hat and fixed his hair for the fifth time in the last five minutes, Michael and Calum stood up "Getting lunch?" Calum asked. Luke shakes his head and Calum nodded as him and Michael walked towards the lunch line. I look over at Luke leaning my left arm against the table, "What?" he shrugged.

"Something's bothering you." he shakes his head, "I'm fine." this time I shake my head. "You fixed your hair, more times than normal. Something is bothering you." I cross my arms. Luke shrugged, "Just nervous about tonight, the new song." I link my arm with his and lean my head against his shoulder, "You'll be fine, don't worry about it."

"How would you know? You left in the of the first song." He said looking down. "To be fair, I was dragged there. And  I was kind of pissed at you still than." Luke shakes his head, "That makes it so much better." he mumbled. "I'll stay, full set swear. Not just because you would be my ride." I say quickly.

Luke laughs leaning his head against mine, "You're horrible." he muttered. "I know." I whisper. "That's adorable." I look up and Calum had his phone out, "Did you just take a picture?" Luke sighed sitting up straighter but slide closer. "Yup." he smiled sitting down. Michael sat down next to him sliding his trey in front of him. "That's not adorable, that's disgusting."

Calum shakes his head, "I ship it." he whispers to Michael. "Ew, please don't." Michael groaned. "So Jesse, why do you always miss Eden on Wednesday?" Calum asked. "Normally because I'm going back to my mum's or uh my dad's." I shrug. "What's with the uh? And why so long?" Michael asked.

"Because I don't feel comfortable talking about my family and because that's none of your business really."

Michael raised his hands up before starting to eat his food, Luke lightly pushed my shoulder. I look over at me, "You okay?" he asked quietly. I nod, "We're talking about this later." he said quietly pressing his forehead against my temple. I slightly nod, "Jesse, I hear you're birthday is coming up." Calum said smiling.

"Oh uh yeah." Luke laughs lightly before sitting up, "Are you going to do anything?" Michael asked. "Not go to school." I shrug. "Duh, but seriously party? Out to eat? Want anything?" Calum said. I shrug, "I'm not to huge about birthday things."

It was true I was huge about having parties or something. Normally Luke and his family came over we had dinner I opened few presents then Luke stayed the night. That was about it.

I shake my head, "You must want something, everyone does." Michael sighed.

"Luke we are giving you a job," Calum started. "Fuck." Luke mumbled. I smile shaking my head, "Make sure you find out what Jesse wants for her birthday."
