Dicks pov as to what happened on Christmas day.
*Christmas Eve*
It had been a long day for Dick as there was a thief on the loose. Now, at 11 pm, Dick had finally gotten off of his shift as the criminal had been caught. The man had been attempting to steal some unauthorised weapons. Dick stumbles into his apartment, changing into some comfy clothes before laying in bed, exhausted, and in pain from being hit with something. He couldn't quite remember what. He was meant to have gone to Bruces Manor tonight, but he couldn't have made it as it was too late, as well as the fact he was so tired. As soon as Dicks head landed onto his pillow, he was out for the count.
Dick awoke, early, at 6.30am...not enough sleep, especially not on Christmas or after his long day prior. He got up and changed, grabbing the bag of presents he'd left in the living room and heading to his car. Getting in, he started to drive to the Manor. Dick was only about 25 minutes away when he noticed some men in all black following him. Great, he thought as he stepped on it, taking turns no one should have to take, they followed. Dick swore under his breath as he grabbed his phone in one hand, placing it on the passenger seat and calling Bruce.
*after phone call*
Dick sighed, although they were gone, he had a bad feeling. He took a few more turns before he stopped. The cars swarmed him, Dick closed his eyes before he accelerated forward, knocking the cars out of the way and zooming off. After 28 minutes, he knew he had definitely lost them.
"Fucking hell..."
Dick sat in his car in the driveway of the Manor for a minute, silent. Then his phone rang.
*Two Face*
"Oh for fucks sakes!"
Dick declines the call, he ain't doing this shit, not now, it's Christmas time. He is gonna go and spend time with his family.
Dick walks into the Manor.
At last.
