After they all got comfy, they looked up to Dick wanting to know as much as they could about their older brother.
"So...it was true I did die."
They all look kinda of confused and concerned.
Dick sighs.
"I was resuscitated...and then Bruce told me I had to pretend to be dead."
They all just sit.
Shocked and in silence.
"He wanted an undercover agent, I suppose, I was already dead...and so practically beat me into compliance."
Steph is fuming.
Damian is red with anger.
Tim is silently calculating how to avenge Dick.
Cass is silently plotting as well, though hers is more physical damage.
Duke is now pacing.
Jason's eyes glow a vibrant green.
"He did...WHAT?"
Dick flinches softly at the yell, and just simply states again.
"He fought me...after I had just been brought back."
All of their expressions soften, he wasn't even in his right mind and Bruce fought him?
They all end up snuggled on the sofa, Dick is saving his other tales for another day, and this time he'll go in chronological order. But for today, they've heard enough.
"Big brother can tell us anything."
Cass says, her head on Dick's shoulder, Dick smiles.
"Thanks, Cassie."
Duke perks up, having been a silent support most of the night.
"She's right you know."
