💥|DALLY'S POV|💥

"YOU SURE YOU don't wanna come over?" Kathy questions, making her voice sound overly innocent as she runs her nails up my bicep suggestively.

I ignore her suggestive touches and coy voice, my eyes trained on the brunette across the parking lot. Angela walks with Beatrice, throwing her head back as she laughs, her shoulders shaking. She'd never laughed with me like that. I don't blame her. I wasn't a joyful person, I made people cry, and I brought hate wherever I went. Yet I still couldn't stop myself from watching Angela's perfectly white teeth shine through her mouth as her smile widened.

What am I doing? I'm mad at Angela. Not fantasizing about her. I look back down at Kathy and hum "I have some stuff I have to take care of today." I tell the girl. That was true, I was gonna go up to the church to visit Pony and Johnny, things have died down enough so visiting them wouldn't be a bad idea.

She pouts at me, puckering her bottom lip out way more than she needs to. "But we never hang out after school and you haven't touched me since we've gotten together." She complains.

I open my mouth to argue but quickly shut it. She was right. I hadn't touched her sexually since that night at Buck Merle's. Minus touching her ass and making out, I really didn't do anything else with her. Our relationship has been pretty PG. Usually when I got girlfriends fucking them was all I did, but suddenly, I was repulsed by the thought.

Don't get me wrong, Kathy is an attractive broad, with big, murky eyes and perky tits. I'd usually be all over her. But she didn't pull at my hair the right way, didn't sound right, and her body didn't react the way Angela's body did.

Jesus, I need help.

"I've just been stressed, man. I mean seriously with the death and everything I've just been on edge." I stammer out.

Kathy huffs, but nods in understanding "Yeah, I get it. Could I at least get a ride home?" She questions.

This girl is relentless.

"Yeah, hop in." I mumble to her. A giant smile takes over Kathy's face and immediately she jumps into the passenger seat of my buddy, Buck Merle's car.

I get on the driver's side and turn the car on, the engine roars to life and Kathy lets out a short shriek as I fly out of the school parking lot.

My driving is not bad. But it's rough and wild. Something most people can't handle. Kathy was one of those people. On every turn I make her eyes get wider and her face paler, I almost think she might explode. The drive to her house is short and I come to a screeching halt in front of her small brick house.

Kathy let out a breath of relief, like she was certain she was gonna die from my driving. She clears her throat, turning to me "I'll uh, see you tomorrow at school."

School. I despised it. But it was so worth seeing Angela's face today. She looked pissed when I kissed Kathy. "Yeah, see ya." I reply.

She gets out of the car and shuts the door, hesitating as she nips at her bottom lip, her eyes on me. "That Angela Curtis...you guys aren't seeing each other behind my back right...?" Kathy questions hesitantly.

I let out a short scoff "No, I'm not a cheater and she's stuck up. Do you think I'm cheating on you?" I ask her.

"What? N-no...I know you wouldn't, I just..." She tries stammering out a response and sighs in defeat when she can't think of a lie. "I'll see you." She mumbles before turning on her heel and strutting away.

I huff and start the engine up, I had one more stop to make before I could make my way to Johnny and Pony.

Within minutes, I'm at a gas pump at the DX, where Soda and Steve work. I hop out of the car and get inside, Soda stood at the register, leaning against the counter as he talked to a blonde with wild hair. She giggles at something he says and I shake my head with an amused grin. Most of the DX customers were females. Women came in intending to get a date with Soda.

Of course, they were always rejected with the excuse that Soda already had a girlfriend. I only met Sandy a few times, they seemed in love and they've lasted a while. I wonder if I'd ever get a relationship like that. Probably not, most relationships are a waste of time anyway.

I grab a few snacks that I know the boys will love and I pause when I reach for a six-pack of cokes as I hear the voice of the only female Curtis.

"Yeah, it was a half-day today so we got out after lunch." Angela tells her brother as she hops onto the counter, swinging her legs back and forth as she talks with Soda. Her mile-long legs were covered by a pair of jeans that hugged her lower half tightly. Hardly two weeks ago those same legs were around my waist, not letting me go.

My jaw clenches and I blink my thoughts away as I turn away. I grab the six-pack of coke and a few other snacks before making my way to the register, holding my head high.

"Hey, how's it goin', man?" I hum to Soda, leaning on the counter as I give him my stuff.

"Alright, you?" He replies as he scans my stuff. I can feel Angela's eyes, when I glance at her I see that her eyes are trained on all the stuff I'm getting, refusing to look at me.

"Pretty decent." I answer Soda, now looking at him.

Soda nods and quietly continues scanning the items. I was surprised when I heard Angela speak up. "That's a lot of stuff you're getting Dallas." She says.

"Yep, shopping for Kathy." I answer her, flashing her a quick grin. I almost laugh at the distaste on her face.

She stares at me as if trying to see through my lie. She wouldn't be able to, I was a good liar. I watch as her nose scrunches up, like it always does when she is thinking really hard about something. It was cute.

Finally, her eyes soften and her nose relaxes, a sweet smile replaces her annoyed face "Such a nice boyfriend you are, I'm glad you two are happy." She hums.

I didn't trust her act, but I played along "Yeah we're just peachy." I tell her giving her a tight smile.

The sound of Soda clearing his throat pulls our gazes away from each other. He tells me the total and I pay it "Hey man I'm gonna go take a leak, I'll be right back." I tell Soda before making my way to the bathroom of the DX.

I quickly did my business and hurried back out, Angela was now gone, leaving Soda with all my things. It'd probably be better for her to leave, she was too nosy. I grab my stuff and move to turn only to be stopped by Soda putting his hand in front of me. He clears his throat and quickly takes a small note from his breast pocket holding it out to me. "I'm not gonna ask where Pony and Johnny are, I know you're not a snitch. But please give this to Pony next time you see him, it's all I ask." I glanced up at the Curtis boy's face and I could see the exhaustion and worry that had been embedded into his face over these past few weeks.

I feel myself nod as I take the note "Yeah, no problem, man." I tell Soda.

He smiles, letting out a soft breath of relief "Thank you."

With a nod, I leave. I throw all the groceries into the back of the car before getting in and starting the engine, speeding out of the DX. Next stop, Pony and Johnny.

💥|ANGELA'S POV|💥

My body lurches back as Dally speeds out of the DX, I hold back a grunt of pain, my head and back now aching. Maybe it wasn't such a bright idea to sneak into Dally's trunk. Soda hadn't stopped me though and Soda was smart enough to know that Dally wasn't shopping for his girltoy. He was going to visit our brother, wherever he was.

I'm sure of it. A soft curse leaves me as my body lurches forward, hitting the wall of the trunk. Dally drives like a psycho and nothing will change my mind.
