I know love is supposed to be a beautiful thing. But people ruin it by saying love hurts.
It makes me wonder, is it really the love that hurts? You can answer this if you want in the comments.
My answer is 'no'. Why?
Because love really is a beautiful feeling, its not the love that hurts, its the rejection, the trouble you go through, but in the end, its all so beautiful.
People say love hurts because the think they love a celebrity., I would understand if that celebrity has saved them. But is very common to get lust and love mixed up. Love is supposed to be an all around beautiful feeling. Meanwhile, lust is a greedy feeling.
If you want to know whether or not you love somebody, or lust them ask your self these questions: remember you must be honest!!
1, What's the first thing I noticed when I saw him/her?
2, How much do I know about this persons personality?
3, How do I dream about them?
4, If the person is an actor, what's the name I remember this person by? Their name on the show, or thier name in real life?
It's really important to ask yourself these questions, or else you'll be saying that is 'love' when its really lust. It's easy to mix them up.
If you love the person, your answers should be similar to;
1, their eyes, thier personality, how they act
2, I know for sure that they are loving and playful, but will get the job done when needed
3, I don't dream of thier body, or them caring for me, I dream about them being the human being they are, and not how the media portays them
4, I recognize them by both names, but when talking about them, I use the appropriate name
Lustful answers are similar to;
1, thier body, thier face
2, the fanfiction says they're a loving and trust worthy person
3, I dream of having them beside me in bed and waking up to them ready for me in any way possible
4, I regocnize them and both names, but end up getting both names mixed up when talking about them.
If you get 3/4 or more questions right, then its love, but below that, its lust.
I made this chapter because people get depressed by what they think is love's fault, and they never give anyone else a chance. I felt like this was important to point out and as a teenage girl, I get feelings for boys painfully easily, but I recently told myself that no matter how many boys I see, only one of them I truly love, the others I lust. Same for you, whether you're a girl or boy, you get these feelings, but keep in mind that you only truly love one person, the other is lust. But if you do love two people, go for the second, because if you truly loved the first, then you wouldn't have fallen in love with the second.
