Mikayla's POV
As I went back into the house I heard someone yell "Hey guys I made it!". That stopped me in my tracks and I turned around straightaway. "Cody" everyone hissed. "We have to be quiet so Mikayla can come you ding-dong"( no being mean intentioned- Mikayla ) Katie whispered.
As for me I was just staring at the door. If my family found out I would be in huge trouble.
Luckily no one came to the door.
Then I hurried over to the group and whispered "can I stay over at anyone's house for a while... maybe for the rest of the summer?"
Everyone started laughing quietly. "Guys I'm serious" I exclaimed quietly.
"You can stay at my house for a little while Mikayla" answered Madi. "Ok thanks" I answered.
Then I hurried inside an packed my few items. Without making a sound I went outside with my stuff.
All of a sudden I remembered to grab the mail. "I'll be right back" I whispered. I walked quickly to the mail box.
Creak sounded the mail box. There wasn't very much mail in the mail box. But one letter had my name on it.

"Wow" I whispered. I had never received mail before.
"Let's go Mikayla" Brett whispered. "Alright Bretty McTeddy" I snickered back.
I ran and slipped the mail into the slot. All of a sudden I heard a crash in the house. I started to back away slowly.
