Once Clarisse and I finally arrived at camp people were already at Thalia's tree, waiting for the fleece. We quickly hopped out of the cab we were in and rushed to the tree, startling people who were not paying attention to us. I could see that Clarisse's siblings were happy to see her as Connor, Travis, Kenzie, and Chandler were to see me.

"Clarisse!" one of her siblings called to her. "What's-"

"No time to talk," she interrupted before turning to me. "Where's the fleece?"

I handed her the fleece and the campers made way for us as we finally reached the tree. Clarisse placed the fleece on one of the trunks and quickly the tree started to grow again. The campers started cheering and clapping for Clarisse.

"You did it!" I smiled.

Clarisse rolled her eyes. "We did it, Heaths," she corrected. "Now bask in the glory!"

I chuckled as the cheering got louder. After we arrived, Percy, Annabeth, Logan, and Tyson arrived soon after. They cleared Chiron's name and the campers were drowning him in hugs which I thought was adorable. I also hugged Chiron, which I haven't done, ever, so it was nice.

I also Iris messaged Zoë, thanking her for the extra weapons. I also talked to her about my ordeal with the sheep and how I managed to get past them.

"When art thou coming back?" Zoë asked me.

I thought about it for a moment. "Once I get everything packed, I'm coming," I told her.

Zoë nodded as a deer appeared behind her. I pointed to it. She turned around and fired at the deer, but it flew right past the deer and to a nearby tree, once again. I couldn't help but laugh at it.

"You know, Zoë? For a lieutenant of Artemis, you have really bad aim." I laughed.

Zoë groaned. "Continue laughing and I'll be shoving a spear down your throat when you come back."

I held my mouth but was still giggling. 'Okay, okay, I'm sorry," I said. "But that was really funny, not gonna lie."

Zoë rolled her eyes at me as I finally calmed down. "Just be back as soon as possible," she said. "Lady Artemis needs to speak to thee."

"Lady Artemis? For what?"

"I don't know but I guess it's important."

I nodded before finally ending the iris message and walking to my cabin to clean up before I leave.

I walked into the room to see Luke Castellan sitting on one of the beds. He was holding Eris and the way he was holding her made it look like he wanted to snap her neck.

"Eris!" I screamed as I summoned my bow. "Luke...let her go."

Luke laughed as he walked towards me, still holding Eris. "Now, now, Heather, no need to get all violent."

"You're holding my cat like a fucking water bottle and you're telling me not to get violent!?" I yelled.

Luke paused. "Touche."

"LET HER GO!"

Luke smiled. "I'll let her go, but only if you do something for me in return."

I scoffed. "I'm not joining you, Luke," I snarled. "Kronos can fuck himself for all I care."

Luke's smile faded. "Don't talk about him like that."

I raised an eyebrow. "Why not? Scared he'll come up and kill me?"

"Just listen to what I have to say, Heather."

I looked at Eris for a moment. "Let my cat go, and then I'll 'listen'."

Luke and I glared at each other for a moment before Luke finally put Eris down. She ran towards me, and I hugged her tightly.

Luke cleared his throat. "Okay," he smirked. "I know you're not gonna listen to me, but-"

Luke yelled in pain as my fist met his face. "What the fuck?"

"What?" I asked innocently. "You said I wasn't going to listen."

Luke growled at me before getting up. "You are stubborn as hell," he muttered. "You're going to be perfect for Kronos' army."

I groaned. "I told you; I'm not joining him!"

"Oh, I'm not asking you..."

Luke snapped his fingers, and two large bear men came from behind him.

"I'm making you." he finished. "This time."

The two bear men launched at me. I dove under one of them, going between his legs and shot him from behind with my arrow. The other tried to grab me but I lifted him over my shoulder and threw him to the ground.

Luke chuckled. "You won't be able to fight them off forever." he taunted.

I ignored him as I kept trying to dodge them. I ultimately got myself surrounded in between the top and bottom bunk of one of the bunk beds.

One of the bears sneered. "You're not getting away from us."

I reached into my quiver and grabbed a fart arrow. Covering my mouth, I launched it at the two men, causing them to fall backwards into Luke. using that as a chance to escape I grabbed Eris and fled from the cabin. Everyone was asleep and I knew the harpies were going to give me a hard time, so I didn't know where to go.

I sighed. "Yeah, that cabin is going to stink for a week," I muttered as I put Eris down. "Are you okay?"

Eris nodded. "I'm fine," she shuddered. "I hate those two bear men though."

I chuckled. "You and me both." I looked at the cabin. "They're gonna come out any minute, we have to go."

I scooped up Eris once again and ran out of the camp. I heard Percy talking about his mom's new place, so that's probably where I plan to go to hide from Luke.

"Are you gonna go back to the hunters?" Eris asked.

I shook my head. "And put them in danger? Not a chance. Once I am sure I am safe, I will Iris message the hunters and tell them where I am."

"Where are you going?"

I looked at the grass in front of me. "You'll see when we get there."

Unbeknownst to us, someone was following us, someone I didn't even know existed until then.
