Once I woke up, I immediately packed my things and made my way to Artemis's tent. Once I made it there, I walked in and was immediately greeted by a lot of screaming.

"What do you mean you won't help me?" Apollo yelled.

"I am just as distraught as you are, but I am not breaking our fathers rule just for you," Artemis replied. "I already sent out five groups and all of them came back with nothing."

"Yeah, but none of them can cover that much ground, and you know that," Apollo counter pointed. "If we work together, we can-"

"I think I know where she is."

Both gods finally noticed me. Apollo sighed in relief. "How? Whe-where is she?"

Artemis sighed. "Calm down, Apollo," she said before urging me to sit in one of the chairs. Once I got comfortable, she spoke to me again. "Now...explain."

I took a deep breath before telling them the dream I had just a few minutes ago about my mom, Heather, and some other god. Once I was done, I looked to see my grandfather grinning from ear to ear at Artemis.

"I told you my daughter was still alive!" Apollo yelled, cheering loudly.

"But there is also someone who is plotting to kill her, and your granddaughter," Artemis reminded him, causing him to sit back down.

"Do you know who this god could be?" I asked.

Artemis shrugged. "There are multiple gods who might have done this," she explained. "Just 'a god' doesn't narrow it down in the slightest. There are many gods that we have to worry about and that in itself is difficult."

I sighed.

"Well, it has to be one of the minor gods," Apollo suggested. "We all know our father and the other Olympians wouldn't even get out of their chairs for dinner, much less kidnap someone."

Artemis nodded. "That much is true, but who would be foolish enough to kidnap a mortal such as them?"

I thought about it for a moment then my eyes widened in realization. "Luke..."

Apollo and Artemis both looked at me. "What?" Artemis asked. "That Castellan boy?"

I nodded. "I know he isn't a god, but who would be more willing to kidnap something-or someone–than the person who's been highly known for stealing Zeus's lightning bolt and Hades' helm of darkness. Who is more capable of stealing from the gods than someone who's plotting against them for years? Luke kidnapped my mother and Heather 'cause he thought they would get in the way of Kronos's plan. Whoever this god is is working for Kronos and Luke took her to him so they won't find out it was him, and their plan would almost be complete."

Apollo groaned. "I swear when I got my hands on that boy, I'll-"

Artemis stopped him. "No need to get drastic, brother," she told him before looking at me. "And you might be right. If Luke is causing all of this, then we should be cautious. I'll call my huntresses back, so they won't cause a scene, and you need to go back to camp."

I nodded. "I will," I told her.

Artemis nodded before walking out of her tent. Apollo and I followed behind her.

"I'll go and tidy up," I said before leaving to go to Heather's cabin.

As I was walking a lot of thoughts swirled around in my mind. Why would Luke take her? Why would they take my mother and hide her from us for years? If they wanted us captured, why didn't they do it from the moment we were born? All of these questions and no one to answer them.
