The Truth

Devin's P.O.V. -

When Claire didn't wake up the same day she passed out, I told my friends that they should go home and I'll call them when she wakes up.

Well she slept, she would talk, and sometimes when I felt her skin, her skin was either really hot or really cold. It scared me how she kept going from cold to hot, hot to cold.

I hope she'll be OK, I don't want anything to happen to her. As time went on, I decided that when she finally woke up, I'd tell her the truth about herself, and hope for the best.

There was one day well I was sitting next to her, she started yelling for her parents, telling them to not leave her alone, and she would start crying. She had that same conversation at least once a day.

On the third day, I had a feeling she might be waking up soon. Either that or I was hoping really hard she would and it was messing with my normal senses.

- Time Skip -

After some time, she started to thrash, then she started to scream. I stood up and ran over to her and started to shake her. After shaking her for a bit, she finally woke up and stopped herself from screaming and looked at me.

She tried to sit up, but I pushed her down and said "You really shouldn't move to much, you've been passed out for about 3 days and you might be weak."

She looked really confused, most likely because she was in a coma for 3 days, maybe more so I said "I have something really important that I have to tell you, but you can't flip out, no matter how much yoou want to."

She just looked at me, waiting so I continued and said "Well . . . . You are a reincarnation of the great magician, who was also half werewolf, who died over a 100 years ago. My father, my friends, myself and more are werewolves, and we are going to war with the vampires, like we did over a 100 years ago, when she, then great magician, helped us fight them off. You are here to help us and on your 16th birthday your powers will fully unlock and you will be able to learn how to use your magic and how to transform into a wolf without any problems. With these responsibilities on your shoulders, you will also have many after you. That is why I'm here, to protect you until you can learn how to fight and protect yourself and also because I am your mate,but its up to you to except me."

When I finished saying this to her, she pretty much started freaking out and saying I was lying to her. But the thing is, I'd never lie about something like this.

Hopefully she accepts her fate and helps us. Then she said "My 16th birthday, what is today, and the date?" Weird question, but okay, so I told her "Today is Thursday, the 23rd of July, why?" And she stared to panic even more and said "my birthday is on the 26th of July, I have 3 days til my 16th birthday. My god! I'm going to freaken die from all this stress."
