Merry Christmas My Love

Devin's P.O.V. -
I hugged her close, never wanting to let her go again. God it felt so good to have her back! She started to sing along with the characters in the movie, wow . . . she still sounds so beautiful.
Without even thinking about it first I leaned in and kissed her, interupting her singing. I felt her hesitate and I started to pull away when she leaned in and deepened the kiss. I growled happily and hugged her closer. She giggled softly, smiling as we kissed.
Soon we had to stop to catch our breath and I grinned at her. She blushed and smiled her beautiful smile. I'm so happy she's mine and mine alone.

- Time Skip, because I can! And it's December 24th in book now! -

I sat calmly on the couch in the living room, waiting for Claire when I heard a loud bang from the kitchen. I quickly got up and ran into the kitchen to find Claire on the ground . . . covered in dough and flour, cursing. I laughed lightly,
"You ok Claire?"
I ask as I help her stand up. She begins to wipe the flour off herself as a blush spread across her cheeks.
"Yeah! Yeah I'm fine!"
She says quickly and she starts to clean up the mess she made.
"You sure?"
I ask as I sneak up behind her and rap my arms around her. She jumps slightly before relaxing into my hold.
"Why do you keep asking? It's almost like you want me to get angry!"
She almost yelled. I just laughed lightly and nuzzled her neck. She giggled and wiggled out of my arms, continuing cleaning the room.

- Time Skip to midnight! Now its the 25th! -

I walked to where I heard Claire talking and found her in the living room. I smiled as I noticed a mistletoe above her head. I slowly snuck up behind her and turned her around. I leaned in, looking into her eyes.
They were so beautiful. If only she could understand just how beautiful she is. I stared for a little bit more before leaning in and kissing her. She gasped in surprise before kissing me back. I snaked my arms around her, hugging her closer.
After kissing for a bit we pulled back to catch our breath. I leaned my forhead onto hers and smiled softly at her. She smiled back, her eyes twinkling in the light.
"Merry Christmas love!"
I said as I kissed her once more. She giggled and looked at the clock.
"Well look at that! It's 12:04 and I didn't even notice!!"
She said before looking at me again.
"Merry Christmas to you too!"
She said cheerfully, smiling up at me.
"Give me a moment love,"
I said before walking over to the bookshelf. I felt her eyes follow me as I moved some books and pulled out a box. Hopefully she'll say yes!
