Bella's POV:
I'm so excited that Asher is spending the night because he is like so C-U-T-E. He keeps staring at me. Its kind of weird but cute at the same time. I wonder if he knows he is doing it?
Bella: Asher, you do realise that you are staring again!
Asher: Sorry, I... I.... I just wanted to ask you something.
Bella: Sure
Asher pulls out a black velvet box which appears to be uncertain of what it may be? My heart starts to bet faster and faster. Than Asher opens the box but looks at me the whole time.
Bella: ITS A RING!
Asher: Yes, a promise ring and Bella, excuse me for a minute.
Bella: Okay (confused)
Asher's POV:
I asked to be excused because I forgot to ask her dad for his blessing before asking Bella out on first date (at least i hope so)! I slowly and consciously walk into her living room. Then I ask polietly:
Asher: Mr and Mrs Friar, I... I.... I would like your blessing for me to take your beautiful daughter on a date.
Riley: Asher, it is all well and good that in this day and age you would come to get our blessing. But i'm happy for you to do so
Lucas: WHAT NOW!
Riley: Anyway, because that is exactly how ranger rick asked me out on my first date and look at us now (kisses Lucas on cheek)
Asher: Thank you m'am and you sir?
