47. DREAM

This must be the nicest dream I've had in a while. I lay on my back, floating on the surface of a familiar lake. It's midnight, I count the stars. Crickets sing me their songs, the wind makes for a background music for them. My tar friend is beside me. There's not much of a black liquid on its body. It covers only its face and places that would let me guess its gender. The skin beneath is tanned, similar to mine, but much softer, purer. It points its splattered with the remains of tar finger to the sky. There's the star, shining particularly bright winking at me. Noah. I know its him. Peaceful, enlightening the world with his goodness. I want nothing more from life than awareness that he finally obtained peace. But suddenly, when the moon seems to turn around there's a shadowy face displayed on it. It's just a bright, big smile and a pair of eyes. But I know they belong to my mother. She laughs at me from above. Even when she's gone she's terrorising me, my very soul. And then, I'm pulled under the water.
