When Jungkook entered the room, he found Taehyung sitting on the sofa, his legs tucked under him as he read a colorful magazine. The omega looked up, his face lighting up when he saw the alpha.

"Taehyung," Jungkook said softly, closing the door behind him.

"Have you finished your food..? " Jungkook asked putting the documents aside he was holding.

Taehyung nodded in affirmation.

"Come here... "He opened his arms slightly.

With a smile taehyung walked towards him,and hugged him  tightly, his small hands clutching at Jungkook’s shirt. For the first time that day, he felt completely safe.

"We are going to meet your father today.. " Jungkook murmured hugging him back.

Taehyung's eyes lit up at the news. He smiled brightly and signed.

'Are we really going? Thank you alpha.. '

Taehyung was literally jumping on his feet.

“Yes, really. But you better get ready. We’ll leave soon.” jungkook said chuckling.

The omega immediately went to get ready, jungkook shook his head at taehyung's enthusiasm.

By the time Taehyung emerged, dressed neatly and practically glowing with excitement, Jungkook was ready to go. He straightened his jacket and held out his hand. “Shall we?”

Taehyung nodded, slipping his smaller hand into Jungkook’s.

"Hey jungkook! Taehyung! Where are you both going..? " Hoseok asked.

Jungkook paused mid-step, glancing back at the group of friends lounging around the lobby.  “To take care of some important work,” he replied curtly.

“What kind of work? And why does Taehyung have to go with you?” Jimin asked, narrowing his eyes suspiciously.

Jungkook sighed, running a hand through his hair"Cut the crap jimin... We are getting late.. " Jungkook groaned.

Jimin crossed his arms, blocking the door"No first tell me where are you taking him.. Otherwise I won't let him go.. " Jimin said determined.

Jungkook internally rolled his eyes and muttered a small "fuck it.. "

"I am taking taehyung to meet his father, did you understand... Now stop blocking my way and let me go.. "Jungkook spat.

" Taehyung's father?! " everyone exclaimed in unison, their voices filled with shock and curiosity.

Taehyung nodded his head with a smile.

Jungkook exhaled heavily,

" But.. His father.. I mean does he live here.. Or .. Hell.. I am confused  .. "Jimin uttered.

Jungkook scratched his head.. " Well... He lives here... Now can we go..? "

“No way! We’re coming with you,” Jimin declared, his tone leaving no room for argument.

Jungkook groaned but didn’t argue further. He simply turned on his heel and walked toward the car, muttering under his breath about how everyone always had to tag along. taehyung and rest of the gang joined him.

They hopped on the car and and drove  off . The car ride was relatively quiet, save for Hoseok’s occasional jokes and Jimin’s endless questions about Taehyung’s father. Jungkook ignored most of them, his focus on the road.
