"Breaking News! The Nation’s Most Eligible Bachelor, Jeon Jungkook, is Engaged!"
The headline flashed across every major news channel, social media platform, and newspaper within minutes, sending shockwaves through the country.
"Jeon Jungkook, the CEO of Jeon Enterprises and one of the most powerful Alphas in the business world, has announced his engagement to Kang Sana, the heiress of Kang Corporations. Sources confirm that wedding preparations are already underway!"
The news spread like wildfire, dominating every conversation in boardrooms, coffee shops, and university campuses. People gasped in disbelief, unable to process that the most sought-after bachelor, the man who had been linked with countless socialites yet had never publicly claimed anyone, was suddenly set to marry.
Social media exploded with reactions—hashtags like #JungkookEngaged and #KangSana started trending within seconds. Fans speculated wildly, some heartbroken, some in denial, while others dug deep into Kang Sana’s background, trying to uncover more details about the beautiful heiress who had won Jungkook’s heart.
Meanwhile, in the Park mansion, Taehyung sat frozen, the news blaring from the TV in front of him. His fingers trembled slightly as he clutched the cushion on his lap. His mind went blank, his heart aching in a way he couldn’t describe.

Across the city, Jungkook slammed his phone onto his desk, his jaw clenched in frustration. He hadn’t seen this coming. He hadn't agreed to any of this. Yet, the world now believed it as the undeniable truth.
"The fuck!.... Eric!...... Who did this...? " Jungkook’s voice was sharp, laced with barely restrained fury as he slammed his hands on his desk, making the papers and files tremble. His dark eyes burned with rage as he glared at Eric, who stood stiffly in front of him.
Eric swallowed hard, knowing that any wrong word could make things worse. "It's... Your father, sir," he finally admitted, his voice careful, almost hesitant.
Jungkook stilled. A deadly silence filled the room, thick and suffocating. His jaw clenched so tightly that a vein popped on his temple. His father. Of course, it was him.
Dragging a hand through his hair, Jungkook let out a humorless chuckle. "That old bastard really wants to control my life, doesn’t he?" he muttered under his breath.
Eric shifted uncomfortably, watching his boss fiery eyes. He had seen Jungkook angry before, but this—this was different.
Jungkook grabbed his phone, dialing a number with a sharp swipe of his finger. The call connected almost immediately.
"Father," Jungkook's voice was dangerously low, controlled yet lethal. "Care to explain what the hell this engagement news is about?"
A deep, authoritative voice responded on the other end, calm and unbothered. "It’s exactly what it looks like, Jungkook. You’re getting married."
Jungkook’s grip on the phone tightened. "The hell I am."
A low chuckle echoed from the other end of the call, sending a wave of irritation down Jungkook’s spine.
“Oh, but you are, Jungkook,” his father said with a calm yet firm voice“The news is already out. The country knows. Backing out now would not only be a disgrace to our family name but also a financial disaster. Kang Enterprises has agreed to merge with us under the condition of this marriage. It’s not just about you.”
Jungkook let out a bitter laugh, running a hand through his hair in frustration. “So that’s it, huh? You sold me off for a fucking business deal?”
