."Hey tae..... " Somi mused as she spotted jungkook in his uni.
"Looks like I am you senior, do you remember me? I was there that in in yoongi's hyung's party
"Taehyung thought for a moment then finally remembered. He nodded his head with a smile.
Somi chuckled. "I knew you'd remember!" She clasped her hands together, rocking on her heels. "I was honestly surprised to see you here. I didn’t expect to run into you at my university."
Taehyung simply continued smiling, his expressive eyes shining.
Somi felt a rush of excitement bubbling inside her. She had always been intrigued by Taehyung—his innocence, his quiet yet expressive nature, and the way he carried an unintentional charm that drew people in. Ever since that night at Yoongi’s party, she had wanted to contact him, to get to know him better, but Jungkook had made sure that was impossible.
But now? Now she had the perfect chance.
A smirk played on her lips as she walked beside him, still holding onto his arm. She could feel the slight tension in his muscles, but he didn’t pull away. That was a good sign.
"You know, I really wanted to talk to you before," she mused, glancing at him with playful eyes. "But it seemed like someone was guarding you like a dragon hoarding treasure."
Taehyung blinked at her, tilting his head in question.
Somi chuckled. "You know who I mean, don’t you?" she teased.
Taehyung's cheeks dusted pink again as he looked away, confirming her suspicion.
"Ah, so you do," she giggled. "I get it, though. You must be really special for someone like Jeon Jungkook to be so possessive over you."
Taehyung fidgeted slightly, his fingers gripping the hem of his sweater.
Somi’s smile softened, but her determination only grew stronger. Now that fate had finally put them in the same space, she wasn’t going to let this opportunity slip away.
"So," she said, her voice lighter, more casual, "since we’re friends now, how about we exchange numbers? You know, in case you ever need help with university stuff... or just wanna talk."
She pulled out her phone, unlocking it before offering it to him.
Taehyung hesitated, glancing at the screen and then back at her.
Somi leaned in a little. "Come on, I won’t bite," she teased. "Unlike someone we both know."
That made Taehyung’s lips twitch, a small amused smile forming. Slowly, he took the phone and typed his number in.
Somi’s heart skipped a beat when he handed it back to her. She saved his contact immediately, a victorious glint in her eyes.
"Perfect," she whispered to herself.
