Jungkook stayed close the entire time, like a protective shadow. His arm was either around Taehyung’s waist or resting on his back. Every time someone came up to greet Taehyung, Jungkook was there watching, making sure no one overwhelmed him.
They played some games.There was a "Guess the Baby Name" board (Jungkook almost died laughing at Yoongi's suggestion of "Thunderbolt Jeon"), and they even had a little onesie-decorating station where everyone designed tiny clothes for the baby.
Maria kept refilling Taehyung's glass with fresh juice, while Somi made sure no one stressed him out.
By the time the cake came out—a stunning, multi-layered masterpiece with soft clouds and little teddy bears—Taehyung was already on the verge of tears. Hormones, exhaustion, and so much love surrounding him... it was overwhelming in the best way.
