"You're looking like you're going to be lonely," Kurama teased as he put on his jacket.
"No I'm not!" I snapped, folding my arms. Why can't he just steal that golden mallet off her? My life would be a lot simpler if he just did.
But no, he had to go to 'rehearsals'.
I pouted and leaned on the wall. Kurama put his hand in his jacket pocket and took out some keys and money.
"Take these, I've left my phone number on the fridge, so if you need me, call me, okay?" He offered, which I took gratefully.
"Erm...thanks, Kurama. I really mean it," I thanked him with a genuine tone.
He stood by the door and then uttered, "Who are you, Brooklyn?" I scratched my head and said, "I can't answer that until I know that for myself."
He laughed, unlocked the door and said, "Bye, princess."
I chuckled to myself and sat on the sofa. Maybe Kurama is a good guy after all.

Luckily, I found a pair of black skinny jeans in Kurama's wardrobe that fitted me (so either I'm getting fat or Kurama wears ladies skinny jeans, but I will ask Kurama that another day) and I still had my Green Day hoodie in my bag, so I changed into them.
I am literally starving to death, so me and Nanami decided that we would go to the supermarket.
Brushing my black, wavy hair, I walked into the bedroom, finding Nanami speaking to Tomoe. "Hey! Me and Brooke are going to the supermarket, do you want anything while we're out?" Nanami asked cheerfully.
"No."
"Okay, well-..."
"I'm coming with you," Tomoe interrupted quickly.
I shuffled into the room and exclaimed furiously, "There's no way in hell are you coming with us! I won't allow it!"
"Why!?" Complained Tomoe, facing me now.
"Do you know what Narukami could do to you if she finds you? You need to be protected and hidden, and here is the perfect place!"
"Stop trying to protect me, Brooklyn! I'm coming with you, whether you like it or not!" He hissed spitefully.
I massaged my temples and childishly said, "Fine. See if I care!" Who am I kidding?
I know what's going to happen.
That why I care.

I held on tightly to the shopping bags. Nanami was skipping in front of me and Tomoe. She was explaining to Tomoe what Kurama said to us this morning about Narukami and the golden mallet and how we could get her and Tomoe back into their original forms.
"What about school?" Tomoe asked casually.
"It's Saturday today, moron," I teased, causing his ears to twitch. I really hated the idea of Tomoe coming with us. Not only are we in danger, but our shrine as well. A lovely way to start my Saturday morning. Couldn't he have just stayed at home?
I sighed and whispered, "I meant we shouldn't be focusing on school, I need to get you and Nanami back into your original forms. That's my main priority at the minute."
"Don't worry about me," mumbled Tomoe. I looked down at him. "Just think about yourself."
Hmm, he's as concerned for me as I am for him. I chuckled quietly and ruffled his hair. "I am, but you just don't realise."
