After Louis texted Harry yesterday from his sister's phone, they came up with a plan that Louis was going to walk to Harry's house and get a ride from his mother to school until they came up with a better plan. It was pretty safe to assume that his parents weren't going to be willing to take him to school, after all.

Harry was just finishing getting ready when he heard the doorbell ring. Louis was here.

He ran to the door, opened it, and immediately engulfed Louis in a hug. Louis didn't deserve all the horrible things that his parents were putting him through. And for something as simple as who he loves? That is messed up.

"Are you ok?" Harry asked.

Louis pulled away and smiled sadly at him, "Yeah. I mean what would you expect from them?"

"But you shouldn't have to be used to this," Harry protested.

"It is what it is," Louis shrugged, "I'll be ok. I'll deal with it. There's nothing we can do about it anyways."

Harry just nodded. He clearly couldn't do anything to change Louis' mind. He was glad that Louis wasn't losing sleep over it though. Unless he was and was just really good at hiding it.

Well at least they get to see each other when going to school too. That's the alone time they get now.

"Want me to drive?" Louis asked.

Harry grinned like the passenger princess he was, "Yes please!"

Louis snorted, "Who am I kidding, of course you want me to drive. I shouldn't have asked."

"Hey! Why do you make that sound like a bad thing?" Harry pouted.

"It's not a bad thing," Louis chuckled, "Let's go."

Harry got his school bag, lunch, and water. He announced to his mom, "Mum! I'm going to school! I'll see you later."

"Ok, bye hun!" his mom called back.

As they were driving to school, Louis started talking, "Harry... so I was thinking.. I think I'm going to get myself a bus pass. At least until my parents return my car. That way either of us don't get into trouble on my account."

"Why would we get in trouble?" Harry wondered.

"Well if my parents find out that I'm going to school with you, they're first going to yell at me and now I'm concerned that they may get mad and do something to you too. Nothing violent, of course. I'm just not sure how far they're willing to go," Louis explained.

Harry nodded, "Oh, ok. That makes sense."

They sat in silence for a while and Harry started to think. Well, if Louis was going on the bus... then Harry could catch a ride on the bus as well!

"Wait," Harry said, "What if I get a bus pass too? That way we can go to school together every morning!"

"Really?" Louis smiled, "You would do that? You would get on a bus full of obnoxious high schoolers so you could spend time with me?"

"Of course I would," Harry said, "I love you!"

"I love you too," Louis grinned.

Later on in the day, they both go to pick up their bus passes. They need their parents' signatures by the end of the week if they want to ride on the bus for the rest of the year, but they're free to use the bus until then.

They sneak off to the janitor's closet to get a moment of privacy before lunch.

"So, Harry, just for today I was thinking you could drive your car back and I'd take the bus. That way we have a lesser risk of getting caught," Louis said.

"Oh yeah," Harry said, nodding.

Louis smiled, "Thank you for doing this for me again. I don't know how to thank you."

"I'd do anything for you, Lou," Harry replied with a grin.

"And I, you," Louis replied and leaned in for a kiss. Harry kissed him back eagerly.

Oh he would never be able to get over how good Louis' kisses felt. It was like he flew to heaven every time he got kissed by Louis, it was pure bliss.

This kiss was nice and slow, like a walk on a beach. Or like a soft summer breeze.

It was nice.

He couldn't imagine himself spending the rest of his life with anyone but Lou, and that scared him but exhilarated him at the same time. After all, not everyone gets the opportunity to meet their soulmate in high school.

Harry was glad that he got that opportunity.
