Happy Late New years and late Christmas

Y/N stretched her arms above her head as she locked her classroom door, the day's exhaustion settling into her muscles. The walk back home was peaceful, though her mind kept drifting to Gojo's cryptic words earlier. "You can't escape forever." She scoffed at the thought. She'd escaped just fine, thank you very much. When she reached her front door and opened it, she was greeted by the warmest welcome she could have imagined.
"Mama!" Sally cried, running toward her and hugging her legs tightly.
Y/N chuckled and bent down to ruffle Sally's hair, a soft smile on her face. "Hey there, sweetheart. Did you have fun with Uncle Nanami today?"
Sally nodded enthusiastically, but as Y/N stood up, she tilted her head and noticed something. Did she get taller again? Sally's growth spurt was almost alarming, yet endearing.
Closing the door behind her, Y/N made her way to the kitchen with Sally trailing behind. The mouthwatering aroma of freshly made sandwiches hit her the moment she stepped inside. At the counter, Nanami stood meticulously arranging sandwiches on a plate, his sleeves rolled up and his tie slightly loosened.
"Nanami," Y/N greeted warmly, her eyes locking on the sandwiches. "Those smell amazing."
Nanami turned and smirked faintly when he saw her eyes practically sparkling. "They're just sandwiches," he said. "But feel free to help yourself."
Y/N's stomach growled in response, making Nanami chuckle. "Thank you for babysitting Sally," she said, sitting down at the table as Sally hopped onto her chair.
"No problem," Nanami replied, placing the plate of sandwiches in front of them. "She's well-behaved, though she does have a lot of energy."
Sally quickly grabbed a sandwich and beamed up at him. "Thank you for the food, Uncle Nanami!"
"You're welcome," Nanami said, his voice softening as he patted Sally's head.
Y/N bit into her sandwich and practically melted. "Nanami, this is amazing. You've outdone yourself."
"It's just a sandwich," he said modestly, though he seemed pleased by the compliment.
After they ate, Y/N leaned back in her chair, content but knowing she had something important to discuss. "Nanami," she said, "can I talk to you for a minute?"

He nodded, following her into the living room while Sally continued to munch on her sandwich at the table. They sat on the couch, the warm glow of the living room lamp casting soft shadows. Y/N sighed, her expression turning serious. "I wanted to talk about something that happened today at work."
Nanami leaned forward, giving her his full attention. "What is it?"
"It's about Gojo," she began, her voice tinged with frustration. "He cornered me in the break room. Told me I couldn't escape forever."
Nanami's eyebrows shot up in shock. "He said that to you?"
Y/N nodded, crossing her arms. "Yeah. It's just like him to be cryptic and creepy all at once. Honestly, I don't even know what he's trying to accomplish."
Nanami's jaw tightened. "Y/N, this isn't something to brush off. If Gojo's behaving like this—"
"Don't," she interrupted, holding up a hand. "Don't confront him, Nanami. And don't tell anyone. I don't want this escalating into some unnecessary drama."
Nanami hesitated, clearly torn. "Y/N, if he's threatening you—"
"He's not," she assured him firmly. "He's just being his usual obnoxious self. I can handle it."
Nanami sighed deeply, his expression grim but accepting. "Fine. I won't say anything. But if he does anything else, you have to tell me."
"Deal," she said with a small smile.
Minutes passed as the tension eased. Nanami glanced at his watch, then grabbed his coat. "I should get going," he said, standing up.

Y/N stood with him and walked him to the door. "Thank you again for watching Sally," she said sincerely. "I owe you one.""It's nothing," he said, his voice softening as he looked at her. "Take care of yourself, Y/N."
"I will," she replied, smiling as he stepped outside and disappeared into the night.
Closing the door, Y/N turned and saw Sally peeking around the corner, a sandwich in her hand. "Uncle Nanami's the best!" Sally said with a giggle.
Y/N chuckled and scooped her up, spinning her around. "He sure is, Sally. He sure is."
As she carried Sally to her room, Y/N's mind wandered back to Gojo's words. She wouldn't let them haunt her—she had too much to protect now. And no one, not even Satoru Gojo, was going to take that from her.
