A Wedge Between the Three Worlds (TNN)

Chapter 8

Clodagh walked in the house with Autumn right behind her. "Hey, you two, Winter back yet? Also, how was your day?" Clodagh asked. "It was fine and no, he isn't here but he did get me to interview for a position at his job," Deliah replied. "It was fine, but I was bored for the whole day, Deliah didn't do anything fun with me," Carly replied. "What are you talking about? You made me play UNO with you, so I did do things with you," Deliah shot back. "You weren't even trying that much," Carly replied. "Because you quit halfway through and left the room," Deliah answered. "Let's not fight, it's already late in the evening and I don't need a whole argument before seven pm," Clodagh said trying to break the argument up as Autumn chuckled and just went to her room.

Autumn teleported to her brother as soon as she locked the door in the room. "Hey brother, have a way to kill that angel yet or maybe the new one joining the team?" Autumn asked her brother. "No, but Mia is asking our father if he forgot a human since that guy doesn't have one. Autumn looked at her brother who seemed to be in thought. "What are you thinking of brother?" Autumn asked. "Sorscha said you had a time limit but wasn't allowed to kill her human but to bring it to her to our father's kingdom, I'm wondering why he asked her to do so," Reece told his sister who widened her eyes a bit since their father wanted the kills for humans done quick but requesting one? That was unheard of for her. 

Mia teleported to the room hearing the conversation before adding on. "I don't know but he requested for your angel to be brought to him so she must be powerful or an enemy of his," Mia said as she came in the room. 

Reece smirked since he already had an idea on how to deal with her before getting interrupted by a text message. "Oh, she's actually texting me. I'll just call to see what it is," Reece told them as the two women smirked glad, they could hear the conversation.

"Didn't feel like reading so what you want?" Reece asked. "You really are too lazy to read the fucking words on the screen? I was wondering if you'd want to do the interview since someone's asking to work at the nursery as a deputy and the last one literally just quit on us," Marjorie told him annoyed since he called instead of just reading it. "You don't need to be that rude, lower your bite and I'll enjoy killing you since I can't stand working with you," Reece said. "I don't care but I have other things to do, and you can try all you want. See you tomorrow since we both know you'd annoy me anyways," Marjorie spoke before hanging up the phone on him.

"Well, that went well," Mia said with a laugh since it was amusing to see an angel so mad at someone for not doing something as basic as that.

The trio spent the next hour talking about ideas they had for bringing Marjorie with them to Roger's kingdom and also killing the other two angels. "I've got to go, I hear Clodagh calling at me in my room that I live in," Autumn spoke before she teleported away back to her room.

Autumn opened her door to see Clodagh standing there holding some food. "For dinner, I don't know if you're sick or not since you didn't join us but here's some food," Clodagh told Autumn handing her the plate. "Thank you," Autumn replied taking it before closing the door.

"I'm so happy you're interviewing for a position with us," Winter said happily for what seemed like the hundredth time he repeated that sentence. "Winter, we know, you've told us like a hundred times already," Deliah replied getting aggravated since he was so excited over something that was so minor. "Oh, don't be a grinch Deliah, it'll be fun, and we'll have a new deputy since that's what you interviewed for," Winter told her.

Clodagh came back down the stairs greeting the two before going to the kitchen. 

"Wait, why is she back in there? Dinner was already made," Carly said quite confused. "She might've forgot to grab something or is getting a drink," Deliah told the teenager.
