Chapter 10

"I TOLD YOU! I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE ONE RUNNING IT!" Marjorie shouted seeing Carly there look confused as hell before turning to the demon king. "Aren't you the owner?" Carly asked before she realized she was in hell and Marjorie had wings. Wait, WINGS? Now Carly was more than confused as hell on why Marjorie had wings. "You see, this realm makes us show our true form," Autumn said walking towards her looking like a demon from the stories she read. Carly didn't care to ask what Autumn was but knew what she meant as she wondered why her manager was in this mess before realizing she was some angel, and the others must be demons except Clodagh who was still human like her. "You see, the owner is our ruler and plus, you're just an easy kill for us," Sorscha told her nonchalantly as it was normal except for the fact two humans were here now.

'Must be used to this,' Carly thought taking in all the demons. The deputy, the deputy's sister or Winter's roommate. Their roommate mostly since Carly slept over there more than at her place. And she was just hearing on how Winter loved Autumn. She made sure to take the surroundings in, looking at all the demon's appearances and seeing a random red head she'd never saw except for the office. 'That's where I'd seen her' Carly told herself before turning back towards their king. She also took note of his appearance while taking Marjorie's in. Clodagh was the only normal one so far. But from the far entrance, she saw a black-haired woman with one streak of white in the front of her hair holding Sara's hand who looked confused. But Carly knew better than to question them at this point, so she just looked back.

"You see, Marjorie or your manager got selected to protect you so if you don't want to die, I suggest you tell her to answer our questions we have or Reece will kill you," the red head spoke to the young girl. Carly gave a smirk before turning to Marjorie. "Don't answer, they'd kill you either way," Carly said devoid of the emotion she'd expression a second ago. However, the red head just seemed to get angry more as if the questions were important. "Bullshit, we just want those questions answered," Autumn told Carly going towards her as the young girl didn't speak keeping the grin on her face before making her face neutral. "Wait, I don't even know your name. Nice courtesy to know if I'd die anyways," Carly said. "It's Mia but you won't be able to run away, this is our domain, and your protector has NO magic," Mia told Carly laughing at her.

"She might, but it doesn't mean I don't," Clodagh said suddenly before seeming to disappear to thin air.

"Where the hell did, she even go?" Sorscha asked as Carly chuckled. "You ever wondered who that little light was that helped Charlotte and Marjorie?" Carly asked before continuing. "You're fucked; you just caught an archangel." Autumn glared at the girl before trying to sense where Clodagh had gone off to. "What is this archangel?" Reece asked. "A protector of all," Clodagh spoke appearing from behind with a staff and a blue light easily knocking them all down. "An archangel is one of the best positions you could get and maybe even the one assigning the humans," Carly said. "What? I had to make sure I'd get the demon lord's daughter, and it worked. You never even questioned how I really never gave a fuck, and your company was actually fun. But then again, it's how I sensed you that first time, remember it?" Clodagh said and asked as her wings began to turn blue using the staff to send Autumn through memories.

"I couldn't sleep, and I saw Winter's car out which means you're awake and-" Deliah tried to say before Clodagh cut her off by pulling her inside the door into the living room of the house as a loud creeeakk could be heard before some of the roof came off and would've killed Deliah from where she was standing.

"Oh, come on, just because I want to be the oldest don't mean I care about my age," Clodagh told Winter before punching the air from behind her and turning to face it but seeing nobody there. "Thought I felt breathing on my neck," Clodagh told Winter before shrugging it off like it was nothing.

"I swear, I feel like people are watching us," Clodagh told Winter. "Maybe you're just a ghost hunter," Winter said with a huge chuckle being sarcastic since he didn't believe in that type of stuff.

-chapter 7-

"Let me guess, you're also a demon?" Marjorie asked as she already knew the answer to that. Autumn nodded her head in response before Clodagh walked in, interrupting the moment. "I'm sorry but I think I left an important item in one of the toy boxes, mind if I grabbed it?" Clodagh told Marjorie before she asked the question with Marjorie nodding in response.

"Great, we can't hurt her until the human leaves," Reece told his sister while moving to face Marjorie to let his sister know who he was talking about.

Clodagh smirked seeing Autumn lost in thought before she freed Marjorie and gave her powers to help her fight as Clodagh easily took Sorscha out with one hit on the head from her staff. Not enough to damage her but enough to knock her unconscious for a while before turning to Reece and Mia. "I take the red head, and you take Reece since the demon king left?" Clodagh asked as she wanted to know if Marjorie was on board getting the nod of approval as she easily used her wand to fight with Mia while Marjorie took Reece on knocking him unconscious while Clodagh just lifted her staff and placed it back in the ground getting a huge tidal wave making Carly and Mia fall but only Mia went unconscious from it. "Special concoction to knock demons out," Clodagh told the two before using the staff and teleporting all of them in a secret area in heaven.

"We'll stay here but Autumn won't be in the right mind of place since I can interfere with memories," Clodagh told the angel guiding her to the bed as Carly looked around the room. "How the hell do you have so much power?" Marjorie asked. "I hold a huge position for angels which Carly did mention was an archangel. We are the protector of humans and deal with battles of demons if one of the regular or guardian angels are in trouble. "What are you going to do with the demons in this room?" Marjorie asked. "I have a fun idea to do for them," Clodagh spoke with a huge grin. "Autumn is basically useless for a few hours and the others are unconscious so we can have fun." Marjorie just stared back shocked since normally they'd bring them to their master or kill them. "It's much better this way," Clodagh told the angel wrapping her arm around her. 

"Wow, this room looks awesome Clodagh," Carly spoke. "I know, I made it myself," Carly told the girl. "What do you think?" Carly just took another glance around the whole room again before replying to Clodagh's question. "It's awesome." Clodagh smiled at the girl's answer. "Glad you think so but what shall I do with these four demons?" Clodagh asked.
