The palace stood strong and quiet, even though the city outside was filled with unrest. For Aadish Rajawat, none of it mattered. The noise and chaos of the city couldn’t shake his focus. The only thing on his mind was his Vani—his to-be wife, his love, his jaan. Her safety and happiness were all that mattered to him.

When the five of them entered the palace, no one noticed. Aadish walked ahead, calm but determined, while Armaan followed silently. Behind them, Om and Rudra dragged their feet, still half-asleep from the long journey. They barely noticed the grand halls they passed through.

Once inside, they quietly went to their own rooms, not saying a word to each other. Aadish paused for a moment, his heart full of thoughts about Vani. She was his peace, his strength, his everything. The city might be in chaos, but Aadish’s world felt complete knowing she was safe.

Aadish carefully carried Avantika into his own room, unwilling to take any risks tonight. He wanted her close, where he could ensure her safety.

As he gently laid her on his bed, his eyes couldn’t help but linger on her face. Her closed eyelids looked so peaceful, her pink, plum-like lips soft and inviting. The soft glow of her cheeks and her long black hair cascading around her made her look even more beautiful. The way she looked in those clothes made his heart skip a beat, a fluttering feeling he couldn’t control. For a moment, he just stood there, unable to look away, completely lost in the magic of her presence.

As Aadish laid Avantika down, his face hovered close to hers. His gaze fell to her lips—soft, inviting, and impossible to resist. The urge to touch them, to claim them in a moment of unspoken desire, overwhelmed him. Giving in, he leaned closer and softly pressed his lips to hers, a kiss full of tenderness and longing.

It was their first kiss, delicate yet intense, leaving him breathless. Just as he was about to pull away, thinking the moment had passed unnoticed, Avantika’s eyes flew open, startling him. Before he could react, she grabbed his collar firmly, her unexpected boldness freezing him in place. The air between them shifted, charged with emotions that neither of them could fully explain.

As Avantika looked into his widened eyes, Aadish froze, unable to form a thought. Her sleepy, husky voice made his heart race, his veins tightening with a surge of heat as she spoke, "Kya raja banoge tum? Kiss tak nahi karna aata" ("You call yourself a king? You don’t even know how to kiss.").

Her words left him stunned, but before he could process them, she grabbed him by the collar and pulled him closer, her boldness catching him off guard. Without  hesitation, she kissed him, pouring all her emotions into the moment. The kiss was passionate, intense, and filled with love, leaving them both breathless. It felt like time had stopped, and in that instant, nothing else mattered—only the undeniable connection between them.

As the kiss broke, their eyes met, filled with unspoken emotions that neither could put into words. Avantika’s hands were still gripping his collar, refusing to let go, while Aadish’s hands gently cupped her cheeks, holding her face as if she were the most precious thing in the world.

The silence between them was heavy yet comforting, their breaths mingling in the closeness. In that moment, no words were needed—their actions spoke louder than anything they could say. It was a connection neither could deny, a moment etched deeply into both their hearts.

As their eyes met, both still catching their breath, Aadish's gaze was filled with emotions he couldn’t put into words. A whirlwind of love, awe, and vulnerability swirled in his eyes, leaving him silent.

Avantika, on the other hand, had a different look in her eyes. They sparkled with joy, a quiet sense of triumph. It was as if she had succeeded in a long, cherished dream, or finally claimed something—or someone—she had loved for what felt like forever. Her happiness was radiant, her expression unspoken proof that she had achieved what her heart had always yearned for.
