Author's POV

The morning sun had just begun its ascent, casting a golden hue across the quiet streets. At 6 am, the world was still stretching awake, the air crisp and filled with a peaceful calm. From the gym, a man emerged, the very picture of disciplined vitality. He wore joggers, their fabric clinging slightly to his powerful legs, and a towel draped casually around his neck, while a smaller one in his hand diligently wiped away the lingering sweat from his vigorous workout.

His physique was nothing short of awe-inspiring. Each of his six abs was sculpted to perfection, catching the early morning light in a way that seemed almost divine. His veiny hands and chiseled muscles spoke of countless hours of dedication, each sinew a testament to his unwavering commitment to fitness.

But it was his eyes that truly captivated-a striking shade of blue that seemed to hold the sky itself within them. They gave him a look that was both intense and mesmerizing, a piercing gaze that could make anyone stop in their tracks.

As he approached the stairs, the serene silence of the morning was broken by a voice calling out from behind him. He paused, the soft thud of his footsteps ceasing, and turned to face the source of the call, his expression shifting from serene focus to curious attention.

"Aadi," Revti Rajawat, his mother, called out to him.

"Ji, Maa sa,"( yes mom ) he responded, turning towards her. He approached her with a warm smile, wiping the last traces of sweat from his brow. "Good morning, Maa."

"Good morning, bachha," ( baby )she replied, her voice gentle and affectionate. "Aapse kuchh baat karni thi, thoda jaldi aa jayiye ga." ( I wanna talk to you , come downstairs in a while) Her words were accompanied by a small, reassuring smile.

"Ji, Maa sa, hum bas abhi aaye," ( yes , will be back soon )he said, his demeanor shifting to that of a dutiful son. With a quick nod, he headed towards his room, ready to attend to whatever his mother needed, leaving the serene morning behind.

After 30 mins.

Aadi wandered into the kitchen, glancing around to ensure no one else was there. He knew his mother would be the only one lingering in the warm, familiar space.

"Maa," he called softly, his voice tinged with a mix of curiosity and apprehension.

His mother turned from the stove, a playful glint in her eyes. She motioned for him to sit down, her expression a blend of amusement and gentle teasing.

"Hume Rudra ne sab bataya," ( Rudra told me everything)she said, her tone light but knowing.

Aadi felt a flush creep up his cheeks. He wondered what Rudra had divulged, but his mother's affectionate teasing eased his nerves, hinting that whatever the revelation, it was nothing more than a playful secret between families.

Aadish coughed, and his mother quickly handed him a glass of water. "Aap to aise khash rahe hai jaise Rudra ne aapki shadi ke bina, dadi banne ki khush khabri di ho Hume,"( "You are laughing as if Rudra has given us the news of becoming a grandmother without even getting married.") she said, her tone laced with unspoken expectations for his future.

Aadish looked at his mother in disbelief, his eyes widening as if to ask, "Maa, do you hear what you're saying?" The surprise on his face was palpable, a mix of confusion and incredulity at the audacity of her statement. It was clear that her casual comment had caught him completely off guard, making him question not only her words but the depth of her aspirations for him.
