NO's POV
Y/N runs through a subway tunnel under Academy City as a cursed spirit of a giant rat chases him.
Rat curse: *ScrEEcH!!!*
As it chases him, Y/N runs towards a wall as he jumps up and walks a few steps up as the rat comes up to the wall. He then jumps off the wall as he draws his tanto and stabs it into the cursed spirits back.
Rat curse: *ScrEeCH!!!*
Screeches the rat as Y/N quickly takes his tanto out of the rat cursed spirits back as he climbs to its head.
Y/N: Oh shit!!!
Yells Y/N as the rat begins to move around trying to get him off of its back like a bull rider and a bull. As the rat tries to force Y/N to get off of its back but Y/N stabs his tanto into its back as he climbs to its head causing the rat to freakout even more. The rat runs through the rest of the subway tunnel as it rams into the walls, columns, and into the ground so it can force Y/N to let go of it but to no avail. Y/N continues to climb as he stabs the blade of his tanto into the cursed spirit as the rat gets up on it hind legs . Y/N removes the blade as he raises it above his head and jumps up and comes down plunging the blade of the tanto into its head causing the cursed spirit to stagger in place before it falls to the ground. Y/N lands on the ground and flat on his back as the cursed spirit dissolves into ashes.
Y/N: Ach! Damn, my first rodeo ride and my back already aches. Alright time to get back up to the surface and report back to Ijichi.
Says Y/N as he walks out of the subway tunnel.
Y/N's POV
After exiting the subway I see Ijichi waiting in his car. I wave to him as he waves back to me as I walk up and get into the car as we leave the subway station.
Y/N: Cursed spirits have been eliminated.
Ijichi: That's good to hear. As of now you don't have anymore missions today.
Y/N: That's good to hear. Strange that there aren't many missions here in Academy City. Or stronger curses.
Ijichi: Wanting to test your luck against stronger opponents?
Y/N: Definitely not. Do I look like one of those battle maniacs in anime? I know my limits. Just maybe in the future.
Ijichi: Well that's good to hear. Jujutsu Sorcerers with that mindset tend to die young.
Y/N: Noted... I won't be able to do much of im dead, so I need to be careful.
Ijichi: I think that's a good way of thinking.
Y/N: Remember how I handle my first months since Gojo started training me?
Ijichi: of course I do. It took you awhile to get used to fighting curses on your own.
Y/N: And I've just gotten used to this job for three months now. Definitely has been a challenge. The last time I sparred against Gojo he said my hand-to-hand combat skills may be a D. Hey Ijichi, how strong do you think a Grade 2 would be?
Ijichi: If I had to rank things like Gojo does, I'd say a Grade 2 at least needs to be A rank.
Y/N: So I just have at least three more ranks to get done with.
Ijichi: Well if anything, you are making progress.
Y/N: Thanks Ijichi.
Ijichi: No problem.
We continue to drive down the street as I look out the window and see people walking down the streets enjoying their day. As I continue to look out the window Ijichi speaks up as he says to me.
